Chapter Eight: Matters of the Heart.

The next day.
Moira woke up from her sleep when she felt a blanket covering her. She slowly opened her eyes and noticed Tyler covering her with a thick blanket...
"I'm sorry if I woke you up." Tyler immediately apologized.
Moira finally woke up when she noticed that Tyler and her face were close to each other. Moira averted her face to avoid Tyler's intense gaze.
“S-So... You’re leaving already?" Moira asked, when she noticed that Tyler is packing his things inside his bag.
"Actually, Sarah and Kyla left earlier. I'm just waiting for you to wake up so that I can say goodbye to you." informed Tyler.
"Oh, I see." that's all Moira can say.
"By the way, thank you so much for inviting last night. I really had fun with you, guys. " Tyler smilingly said.
"Oh, right. Thank you for the snacks and drinks last night." Moira thanked him as well.
"I'll see you at school tomorrow, okay? Our exams are coming up, so we'd better catch up with all our lessons." Tyler reminded her.
"Goodness, I almost forgot about that! I need to study extra hard so that I can keep my scholarship grant!" Moira groaned inwardly.
"You don't have to stress yourself, Moira. You know what, I have a suggestion... Why don't we do a group study? It can help us motivate each other, and we won't get bored studying. So it's like hitting two birds with one stone!" Tyler suggested.
"Hmm... I think that's a good idea! I'll talk to Sarah and Kyla about it. But I think they will definitely agree with it. " Moira smilingly stated.
Moira is leading Tyler towards her door.
"See you later, Moira." Tyler finally said goodbye to her.
"Bye. See you at school." Moira nodded in return. After a few minutes, Tyler finally left.
Once he was out of sight, Moira closed the door and went back to her bed. She blankly stared at the ceiling...
She is really confused of her feelings towards Tyler. There are times that she wanted to stay away from him as much as possible because she doesn't want to be involved in any trouble. There were many instances that her heart beats so fast that she's having a hard time to breathe whenever she stays close with him... And when he's not around, she feels so sad and disappointed...
Why is she having these kind of feelings?
She snaps out from his reverie when she noticed something on her desk. She saw a bunch of keys there, with a "T"
keychain hanging on it.
“It might be Tyler’s keys!” she wondered aloud.
Moira quickly got up from her bed and grabbed those keys from the table. She just wore her jacket, put on his sneakers, then afterwards, she quickly got out from her apartment.
She ran as fast as she could, until she was able to catch up with Tyler who was walking on a deserted street.
His car was parked somewhere, which was a bit far from her apartment building...
"Tyler!"
she calls out his name.

At the same time, Tyler lets out a big smile when he heard Moira's voice. He turns around, then he watches Moira walking towards him.
He smiled in anticipation while waiting for her. There's something about this woman that can make his heart swoon, and make him genuinely happy.
"What's wrong, Moira? You don't have to run so fast. You're making yourself tired."
Tyler asked, while looking concerned.
"I'm glad I caught up with you. I thought you're already gone." Moira said, while catching her breath.
"What's the big rush?"
Tyler asked her.
"You forgot your keys. Here." Moira's informed Tyler, while handing him the keys.
"Oh, I'm forgetting many things recently. This is actually the keys to my apartment. Thank you for bringing this to me, Moira."
Tyler smilingly thanked her.
Tyler and Moira's fingers touched each other.
And with that single touch, they felt the rush of electricity flowing through their whole body. It was all sudden, and it took them by surprise. They didn't know how to react...
And Moira suddenly wished that this magical moment between the two of them and would never end.
But her lucky star didn't listen to her because their magic moment was broken when they heard the sound of a passing car...
At the same time, Tyler withdrew his hand, and Moira secretly feels disappointed.
"I have to go. You should go back home and get more sleep. See you at school tomorrow." Tyler was the first one to speak.
"Okay. Be careful on your way home." Moira replied.
Tyler just gave him a tender smile, then afterwards, he started walking away...
Moira watches Tyler ago, until he's out of sight. She then decided to go back to her apartment...
And then again, someone was secretly watching them from afar...

Few days have passed.
Sarah and Kyla are currently at Moira's apartment and they are currently doing a group study. Unfortunately, Nick can't join them because he has to go to his work appointment. So in the end, Moira is stucked with Sarah and Kyla.
The girls decided to take a break. Sarah decided to switch on the television, and they screamed in delight when they saw Tyler Bancroft on the screen!
"----Ladies, I know you've been waiting for our guest today... Well, the long wait is over! Let's all welcome one of the brightest star... One of the most sought-after bachelor--- Tyler Bancroft!" the female host from an entertainment show happily announced.
Sarah and Kyla started screaming when they saw Tyler on the television screen.
"Oh, there's Tyler! And as always, he looks jaw-dropping gorgeous!" Sarah exclaimed.
"But he's more gorgeous in person!" Kyla commented.
"Girls, stop screaming! You're inside my apartment, and the landlady might hear you!" Moira reprimanded the girls.
"Oppss, sorry, Moira..." Sarah and Kyla sheepishly apologized.
At the same time, Moira can't concentrate on the book that she's reading because her full attention is with Tyler. She can't help herself but to watch his every move on the television...
