"We were so worried about her, but I'm glad she's alright now. By the way, what are we going to do now, guys? Do we have a gameplan or something?" she also heard Kyla's voice.
“Yes. I'm already thinking of a training plan than can help us improve. And for that guys, I need your help.We have to practice everyday. ” Tyler informed them.
"But what about Moira? She needs to rest her legs!" Sarah's responded.
Moira could no longer control herself. She quickly got up and pulled the curtain open.
"I can do it. When are we going to start?" she immediately asked, taking up the challenge.
"Moira! You shouldn't think about the relay first! You should be resting!" Sarah's reminded her
"I'm fine. I'll just let it rest for a day or two and after that I'll be okay. So, Tyler Bancroft-- when are we going to start our training?" Moira asked, while looking at Tyler straight in the eye.
Tyler stared back at her before answering.
"Are you sure about this?" he asked back.
"Yes." Moira answered quickly, without thinking twice.
"Well then. We're going to start the training Monday of next week." Tyler responded.
"Fine. See you on Monday." Moira shot back.
Sara and Kyla suddenly looked at each other while getting worried. But they both know that Moira's a real headstrong girl, and they can't do anything to change her decision, so that's why they decided to go with the flow...
======================
The first day of the week finally came...
Moira's eyes scanned the wide oval of Waldorf University. Tyler is giving her a gist of what will happen at their training. They can't start doing their exercises.
After her short meeting with Tyler, Moira decided to go to the Women's Locker Room to change from his regular shirt and pants to a shirt and jogging pants.
She was caught by surprise when she saw Sarah and Kyla inside the locker room, changing into gym clothes as well...
"And since when you have been here, girls? I thought that I'm the only one doing this training since I'm the weakest link in our team?" she unbelievably asks them.
Sarah and Kyle both looked at her with smile on their faces.
"We're a team, remember? And we should do it all together." Sarah stated
"One for all, all for one." Kyla added in return.
Moira let's out a big smile once she heard her friends. She's really lucky to have Sarah and Kyla as her friends, and she's overwhelmed with so much support that she's receiving from these sweet girls.
"Thanks, girls. By the way, we'd better hurry. Tyler's waiting at the field, and he must be wondering why it's taking me too long to go back." Moira announced.
All of them hurried to get dressed, so that they can go to the field right away...
=======================
At Waldorf University's track and field...
Moira, Sara and Kyla are currently stretching while Tyler is strictly watching them. He's also wearing a sweatshirt and jogging pants.
He looks like a male sports model who came out straight from a sports magazine.
"Stop it, Moira! Stop thinking that Tyler Bancroft is jaw-dropping gorgeous!" Moira reprimanded herself.
“Okay girls, gather up! ” Tyler calls them in a loud voice.
The three of them all formed a line and faced their Team Leader.
“You all know that this is the first day of our training. This is not going to be a walk in a park. You're going to use all your energy to improve yourselves. Am I making myself clear?" Tyler said, in a soldier-like tone.
"Yes, sir!" Moira, Sarah and Kyla replied, in a serious manner.
But deep in side, Moira was feeling a bit annoyed. Tyler acts and sounds so bossy, and he thinks that they are inside a military camp or something...
"And if you any problems on the way I handle this team, you need to directly talk to me." Tyler spoke again.
Moira was secretly surprised when she realized that Tyler is standing infront of her, and he's staring right into her eyes. He's intently looking at her, and as a result, her legs feel like jellies...
“Now, if you don't have any problems with me, let's start with the training. Let's start with doing 30 push-ups!" Tyler suddenly announced.
Moira, Sarah and Kyla winced in return after they heard Tyler's announcement. But they don't have any choice but to follow his orders.
The three of them decided to go on a planking position, and they started doing their own push-ups...
=============================
After a few minutes...
Moira was gasping for air as she collapses herself into the soft grass after she completed her 30 push ups. She feels like she's going to die because of the pain that she's feeling in her whole body...
"What are you spacing there for, Moira? Stand up and do twenty-five laps around the oval!" Tyler barks at her.
Eventhough Moira's whole body's hurting like hell, she gave Tyler a murderous look.
"Can't you give us a break? It wouldn't hurt you if we can have a breather, right?" Moira snaps out him.
"You're just wasting your breath complaining! Look at Sara and Kyla, they're pretty well. They're already running around the oval." Tyler informed her.
Moira's seething in anger because Tyler is obviously torturing her, which is really unfair!
At the same time, Sara and Kyla stops running, and went towards Tyler and Moira to become their referee...
"Guys, you need to chill for a little bit!" Sarah reminded them.
“Why don’t we take a break first to cool off your heads, huh?” Kyla added.
The tension between Tyler and Moira is so intense that they need to be separated for a little bit.
Tyler took a deep breath before speaking again.
“Okay. Let’s go and have a 15-minute break. I’m just gonna get us some drinks. What do you want, girls?” he finally gave in.
“Uh... Anything is fine, thank you. The three of us will take a rest her." Sarah responded.
Tyler just nodded in response. After that, he walked away to buy them some drinks.
When Tyler was finally out of sight, Kyla was the first one to speak.
"Hey, are you alright?" she asks Moira, while looking worried.
"Yeah, I'm okay... I'm just a little annoyed." Moira's replied.
"You mean... You're mad at Tyler?" Sarah spoke this time.
Moira smiled bitterly.
"Well, I'm not really mad at him. I think I'm more mad to myself. I'm such a weakling, and it's my fault on why we lost the relay, and I'm dragging the whole team down." she sadly stated.
