Chapter Twenty Nine

I handed my papers with his and made sure I received his papers after corrections as well . I walk to my locker and wait for him . It was three minutes when I spot Zanthus and suddenly I had the extreme urge to run away . I tap my foot on the floor and turn around with my back to him and lightly bang my head on the locker for feeling those butterflies in my stomach and heart .

I was staring down at the floor when a hand rested on my shoulder and I jerk back hitting my back on the locker doors . But its wasn't Zanthus . "Did he check it ?" He asked and I nodded handing him the papers . "God . Thank you so much . I hope he didn't ask where I was . " I shook my head negative. "See ya " he said and I smiled slightly not meaning to rude .

"Ambriose " My lungs stopped working . He was right beside me . My mouth let out a shivering breath and I inhaled deeply . "Z-Zanthus " he moved his hand to rest on the wall beside my shoulder. His finger touching my shoulder a little . "How are you doing little red ?" I bite lip looking at his neck .

It fascinated me . Since he was wearing a V neck shirt there was black ink peeping out from his shirt . I realised I had to speak up . "F-Fine . I guess " I told him . "Hm ?" He hummed making me look into his eyes my legs suddenly shiver . Goosebumps travel up my body with a heat wave to my cheeks and he leaned in more .

"I..I have to go ." I said slipping away . He had his jaw clenched when I look back at him . He nodded and I walk to the bus . Unfortunately I missed it due to my fuzzy stated because of Zanthus . I stomp my foot folding my hands and looking at the retreating form of bus . I waited . And waited for twenty minutes until I gave up .

I was trying to call Uncle or Aunty when I saw Zanthus walk to me . I jerk back looking around for any sign of the bus but none was there . "Where is your brother? " he asked . "Uh " ," How long were you standing here for ?" He asked . Unable to form a answer I look away . "H-he will be in a few seconds " He nodded and tucked his hands in his pockets . "You really don't have to wait . He will come . Y-you should go " I spoke . My words weren't perfect but he understood. "I am not leaving unless I see you getting in your brother's car . " I gulp . It was awkward.  The silence between us and I finally broke it .

"He isn't coming " I said and he snapped his head towards me . "What ?" He asked . "He is w-working late . I am waiting for the bus " I confessed . Suddenly I was grabbed by my hand and my eyes went wide . My heart beating out of my chest and my mouth left a gasp . "Well then you should've told me . Why did you lie ?" He asked . I lick my lips breathing heavily.

"You should get it in your pretty head that lying to me bad my dove " he said pulling me with him to somewhere . I refused and tried to stop him . He looked back with his car door open . "Get in " he ordered but I shook my head . I remembered my past . As he was forcing me in . "Please " I beg . "Ambriose . I am never gonna hurt you " He said gripping my wrist.
