Chapter 11 : The World under Paoay Lake

The next day, we headed straight for what they called Paoay Lake.
No wonder they made it as the National Park in 1969 because of its beauty. It is so vast that I think it is over 300 hectares. The water is clear, and there are also fisheries along its edges.
"Where do we start?" I asked them.
"We feel the magic coming from the bottom of the lake. Maybe that's what we're looking for," Joan told me.
Why do they feel that way and I do not?
"You mean we shall dive under the lake?" I asked Joan and Isagani.
"How? We do not have equipment like oxygen or anything?" I asked her for more.
"What's the use of your magic?" Joan asked.
"Do I nullify the water so I can breathe?" I answered
"make sense, you just leave here, and we'll just go," she muttered.
Before long, they used their magic. Joan put a circle of transparent ice on her head, so did Isagani with the fire and Fredd with glowing magic.
"Can I really be left here?" I asked Joan when I touch her shoulder.
"do not touch me, Ezi. My magic will be ..." Joan stopped talking, and her eyes widened.
"I'm sorry," I said, but I felt cold in my head.
"How did you do that, Ezi? How did you copy my magic?" she asked me questions.
"What do you mean?" I wondered.
"do not you feel like something is hanging over your head? What I used to do magic to breathe under the water is like that!" she told me, so I held my head. There I found out that Joan was right. But how?
"it is time to finish it!" Fredd's authoritative shout.
As it happened, one of us went down into the water. At first, it was superficial, but as we moved further away, it went deeper. Soon we started swimming and diving under the lake. With the magic in our heads, we could see where we were going and what to see under the lake.
Fredd motioned for us to be ahead of us. We followed him. As we followed him, there was nothing unusual about this lake—just a mediocre one.
Fredd stopped. He was looking at the distance that we followed. There we saw a Cross. It prompted us to go there. We swim closer to the Cross. It moss and stain. We embraced the Cross. The four of us looked at each other. Joan pointed her finger to the Cross, and we got what she meant. Does this mean that the Cross is what we are looking for?
Fredd came closer and tried to pull the Cross away, but he couldn't. The three of us approached him, and as we approached, we suddenly felt trembling. It wasn't long before there seemed to be a powerful force surrounding us. The four of us went around, and there we saw what looked like a water hose below. The four of us got up and moving in a circle.
Due to the strength and durability of our circuits, we gradually lost our trance.
As I opened my eyes, there Fredd's face appeared startled. He stood up and walked away from me a little. I immediately sat down and looked at him. He had just turned her eyes away, and I did the same, and there I saw Joan and Isagani still sleeping.
I approached Fredd as I gazed into my eyes. This place is an old city. It sounds like a regular community, but surprisingly, nobody is here.
"Where are we?" I asked Fredd.
A while ago, we were in the water, and now we are here in a time-lapse. It also made me wonder how we got here, but just as I witnessed the wonders of Antoria, I just shrugged.
He just looked at me and walked away from me. I followed him closely, and I think he will roam the area where we are.
Again I approached Joan And Isagani and pressed their cheeks to wake them up. Soon Joan awoke.
"Go away, Ezi! I'm still sleepy!" Joan moaning.
"You have a strong voice! !" Isagani also shouted at her. And it was there that they started their quarrel. I left them.
I was wandering around, insight, and walking for a while as the two were busy.
As I walked along, I realized that it is like the lost city of Atlantis. The buildings are noticeably old, and I do not see any people here but only statues.
I even walked to find out where we were until I stopped into a large building. I observed it, and I recognized that it was a church.
I look around. When I was sure I was not with anyone, I was about to step out when a sword came out of nowhere. It hit the ground, so I raised my head and there, I saw a woman looking at me. Her eyes were glittering, she was wearing a red coat, and she was holding a sword in his two hands.
Who is this woman!?
She jumped from where she was. I moved backward. When she landed in front of me, she immediately pointed her sword at my neck. I felt fear. My knees were starting to tremble, and I was sweating.
"What do you need here !!?" she asked me out loud and courageously.
I jumped backward, but she follows me. Her sword still pointed at me.
"Answer me if you want to live!" she commanded me.
"I'm looking for something," I replied to her.
"And what are you looking for !?" she asked me again.
"The Stone of Water," I replied.
She suddenly attacked me.
I closed my eyes, but in an instant, I heard someone fall to the ground. I opened my eyes and saw the woman lying on the floor with a man standing in front of her. It's Fredd!
"How did you know about The Stone of Water!? Will you use it for evil!?" the girl asked.
"We're not going to use it as you say. We need it to collect it so that the Sitanians do not get it," I replied because Fredd was looking at her.
"Sitanians? Sitan's servants?"
"You're right, so if you know where it is, can you tell us where to get it?" my answer and question to her.
The woman clenched and placed two swords on her back.
"Come with me," she said and turned away.
I approached Fredd. I looked at him.
"How about Joan and Isagani? Should we leave them alone?" I asked, but he did not answer.
We walked for a few minutes until the girl stopped at a wall. Here she made something. For a moment, the wall moved, and there was a door!
She turned to us and said that we followed her. As we entered the door, we were exposed to a different place. It was different than we had been before.
We are in a high place, and below us, there is a vast field. In the middle of it are a vast field and surrounding forest. At our location, the water was coming. A waterfall!
"Jump!!" the woman ordered, who raised my eyes.
"W-what !!?" I asked her with confusion.
"Are you deaf, or you are just an i***t!? I said jump !!" she replied.
I was repelled by what she said. I didn't like her idea of jumping.
"Seriously!?" I asked myself when I saw the girl jump.
Fredd looked at me. His face was still blank. I do not know what he thinks about whether we jump or not. When Fredd grabbed my arm, I tried to let go.
"Are you crazy? We are going to die !?"
He approached me and suddenly grabbed my arm, and then he forced me to pull over and jumped!
I closed my eyes because of fear. I couldn't help but hug Fredd. He didn't react, so I tightened my grip on him.
For a moment, we were stopped. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that we were standing on the ground. I glanced at Fredd, and this time his face seemed to change. Does the smiling?
"Where are we again?" I asked him.
Fredd could not answer.
"Who are you!?" solid and brave question of someone.
Fredd and I looked over, and there we saw over ten men holding a single spear. It caught us off guard. I grabbed Fredd's arm.
"Let them be. They are my companions," answered the woman a while ago.
The men lowered their spears and bowed to the woman.
"accompany them to our leader," she ordered.
The three men moved in with us. We were told by a man to followed him. Some men were behind us, in front of us, and the woman and two other men were holding spears. We walked down along a hallway, and in a few minutes, we stopped in front of a large door.
"Dear leader, we have guests," the woman shouted.
The large door opened, and an expansive room stood before us—soldiers' indirect gaze. I'm still holding Fredd because they might lead us astray.
At the end of it, there is a guy, and I think he is the group leader. It is like a king seated on his great throne. He was holding a golden spear as he watched us walk toward him. As we approached, the leader stood. His face was serious, and he looked like he was scanning us.
"Didn't I tell you, Jenifer, that you must never enter anyone in our kingdom !?" first words of their leader.
"I'm sorry. It looks like we can trust them," the woman muttered.
"Don't easily trust people, Jenifer! Even if they look kind, their words are fluffy, or even if they say something nice, do not trust them. Next time do not trust anyone!" he sermon on the woman with her head bowed.
"Sorry, leader, this will be the last," she replied.
The leader looked at the two of us. He walked down from his throne and scanned us.
"Tell me, what are you doing here!" bold question of their leader.
"We have retrieved or search for the mysterious Stone of water that is found here in your world," Fredd sighed as I squinted at what was happening.
"The mysterious Stone of water? Why do you need it !?" he still asked questions.
"We had to get it because when the Sitanians got it, they would probably use it in bad because we found out that they are collecting different magical stones for unknown reasons," Fredd answered the leader.
The leader grinned and then looked at the men holding the spear. They quickly approached us, and they grabbed our arms.
"Aren't you Sitanians? We know how powerful if the different magical stones are collected, and we've been waiting for it because we know that something, there are people who want it!" the leader told us.
"We are not Sitanians! We are from Crypton Academy, and this is our mission," Fredd replied.
"How can we be sure that you are not Sitanians? Sorry if we can't believe what you say. We need evidence!" he said the chief to us.
How can we prove that we are not Sitanians?
A few seconds of silence prevailed until a man shouted.
"There are fighters above, leader !!" shouted a man that made us tremble.
