As I pulled out of her driveway, I couldn't help thinking about what she said, 'baby. I like that Amelia and I are getting close; this weekend will be great for sure, and Xander and I have the perfect opportunity to tell her we plan on introducing her to the pack next weekend. Xander's mind to me, asking where I was, and he was already packed and waiting. I linked him back, saying I had just dropped off Lia and was on my way. With that said, we closed the mind link, and I turned on some music and speeded the rest of the way home.

I pulled into the pack house and was greeted by my mom and two other siblings, Maximus and Sophia, who were standing there as if they were waiting for my arrival. I mind linking Xander for any updates. I really didn't want to bother with mom's twenty-one questions right now. Amelia was waiting for us, and I wanted to be with my mate so badly.

"Hey Xander, where are you, and what happened here? Why are mom and the two brats standing at the entrance of the house as if they're waiting for me or something". "Yeah, about that, mom found out about Lia from Jonathan". He might link me back. "so Jessica told her dad huh, the nerve of that chick, okay bro",. I closed them. Besides and walked up the steps that lead to the entrance of our house. Our pack was a huge pack. Besides of the biggest in the world. We wanted a BLOOD MOON PACK. We were rich, so we could afford whatever we liked, and I'm guessing those are the reasons Jessica wants us to want. I mean she could have settled for either of us. Knowing she was not our mate was that greedy. I didn't want to degrade her. I had slept with her for a while, but damn that chick, why did she have to tell her noisy dad, who is my dad's beta and best friend. She knew he would come running with the news to my mom and father and I wanted them to hear from Xander and me. Besides, we wanted to have time with our mate.

"Son, I honestly thought you and Xander loved me, but now I know I have wronged you two in some way, but please tell me so I can correct my mistake", My mother said, Falling to the ground, Mom and her drama, and I mentally rolled my eyes, knowing the smack I would get if I had actually rolled my eyes at her.

Mom, please get up. Luna never bows, and what are you talking about, my precious mother".

"Don't play dumb, brother; we know you and Xander found your mate, and you and that twin of yours are hiding her", Sophia said in her annoying voice.

"Leave him be Sophia, so what is their call to bring her to the family when they are ready? I don't see a big deal." I didn't always get along with Maximus; I always thought mom babied him way too much, but I had to thank him. Thank you, Maximus, I mind linking him.

Mom started her fake whaling on the ground. "My sons hate me; I have wronged them, and I don't know what I have done. Just wait until your father learns of this. Alexander, you and your brother are such impudent children. I had to learn from Moreen, Jonathan's wife. Do you and your brother have any idea how I felt not hearing this from my own flesh and blood? It might not be a big thing for either of you, but for me it is".

"Mom, please stop. We are so sorry. You know how much we love you and the family a whole lot. This wasn't supposed to happen like this. Xander and I had planned to take Amelia here next weekend to introduce her to the family, and maybe if she is up to it, the pack, but Jessica couldn't handle the rejection by us, so she spilled the news to her family. She knew we hadn't introduced her to you guys, so you see, mom, this was never our intention. We wanted to surprise the family. Our trip this weekend is with her to get to know her a lot better. We would never shut you out, mom.

Oh, well, if that is the case, have fun, and your sister and I will get stuff in place for this weekend. I'm looking forward to meeting my new daughter. It is so fun. Run along, Alexander. You mustn't keep your mate waiting for too long".

I hugged my mom, placed a small kiss on her cheek, and ran to my bedroom, where Xander was sitting on the bed waiting for me.

"That was quick", Xander said.

"Yeah, but not quick enough; mom was being dramatic again".

Yeah, I got an earful earlier today".

"Then why the hell didn't you mention that through the mind link earlier?"

"And what spoils mom's fun is that you will avoid her, and then she will know I told you, leaving me on her bad side, and I don't want trouble with mom".

"Shut up, coward, and let's go; it's getting late".

Xander and I left our room and went downstairs, where Mom and our two siblings were standing in the foyer waiting for us.

"Give Amelia my love, boys. Amelia is such a pretty name; I bet she is even prettier than her name".

We both said, See you guys on Monday, before walking through the door and hopping into our Range Rover Jeep. I couldn't wait to see Amelia again, so I drove as fast as I could, breaking every speed limit in Vienna. I looked over to Xander to see him smirking.

" what?"

"Lia isn't going anywhere, Lex, and as much as I want to see my mate, I would love to turn up at her home alive and well."

"Yeah, yeah, we're almost there anyway".

I pulled into the driveway and parked at the side of the house. A man who I saw drop off Amelia and her brother and his mate on the first day of school approached us in a way that led me to think he was their butler. Nice, so my mate has wealth. Not that it matters, but there is something about a woman who has her own.

"Alphas, good to see you; please come this way".

We all walked into the huge mansion to see our mate standing there in a beautiful red dress, looking gorgeous as ever.
