Interlude 3: The incident

2054 in the human calendar. Thousands of players are trapped inside the game New World online. The only way to get out of the game was to clear the game by defeating the final boss. At first, everyone was excited, but it was late before they found out that death was real in this world. Once a player dies in the game, their heart will stop breathing and their brain stops functioning. The logic of how it happened puzzled everyone, including the people outside the game.
