Chapter 36: Bookkeeper's Storytime

Akashic let out a sigh and poured tea into her cup. She then got a cookie and took a small bite.

“I get some rude comments from other people thinking I’m biased towards Hanayuki. I visited her to give her a warning and let her plan a duel between her and Noah. Sure, I admit that I’m rooting for Hanayuki. Who wants g******e to happen? Princess Noah plans to choose the whole world basically and only those she chooses will live in her newly created world. Akashic got a red book and opened it from the bookmark she left.

She was puzzled. “There is no way she loves me? I’m ugly and I’m just a burden.” Still, the boy likes her so much. He loves her so much she can’t understand why. “Why are you so in love with me? I don’t even like you. I mean you’re not bad-looking… I think you’re cool-looking. Also, you can draw many cute things. You seem smart and have a bright future. Why would someone like you be interested in a girl like me?” The girl asked. “I don’t know… I think it's love at first sight. I feel like I can’t live without you anymore. I want you to stay at my side. I want to support you. I want to take care of you.” “All of you are the same… Other men told me those lines before. But they just used my body and when done. Akashic closed the book and made another sigh.

It took them literally a thousand years before the word I love you sprouted in their mouths. They died and were reborn over and over again.
