Chapter 26: The book keeper in the cosmos

In distant land away from the universe. A lovely girl reading a book while enjoying her tea. On the middle of the table was one candle. Its light illuminates the whole library of knowledge.

“Oh, hello there… Who am I talking to? I’m talking to you… That’s right, you… Many people think this is fourth wall breaking, but trust me I won’t spoil too much in the story… We can say I’m the narrator of this grand story. My name is Akashic, inside this big library were the life records of everything living in the universe and multiverse. I know everything from the smallest life form to the biggest one… In the whole universe, I’m the only one who knows the truth. A truth that gods don’t even know…”

She shook her head left and put her pointing finger on her forehead doing her best to think.

“About myself… beside knowing everything and being so pretty… Honestly, I have nothing else to say. I might know everything but I’m not god… Let's be clear with that fact… Moving to the story, right now we are following Hanayuki Travel and her new friends and their quest to stop the people overthrowing the kingdom. Hanayuki sure proved how strong she was after defeating the Golden flash Knight and the Mountain smasher Knight. With Hanayuki on Eula’s side thing seems to go in a better direction. But before we continue…”

[The star from heaven lightens the world. The star also cast the shadow of endless catastrophe.]

A revelation was told.

“To light a candle is to cast a shadow… Light and darkness are always together. Looking up in the night sky you can see it in form of stars and space. The wide black space might be bigger but the little light still shines symbolizing hope. Light can’t defeat darkness, same with darkness can’t defeat light. It was an endless paradox.”

Akashic take a sip of her tea. She turned her gaze around.

“Did you enjoy the story so far? If you did… Let me apologize in advance, because the happening, in the end, might turn your stomach upside down… Because this story is unkind after all.”
