We sat down and look at Astel. Waiting for him to finish writing the information. It will take a while because I know that Astel is not much of a good writer. So he will try to make his writing readable...
And he know that we're here for this specific matter as well now... So, he know that we have a lot of time and willing to wait for him...
'Hey Alfredo... Does this man know about our relationship already? It seems like he didn't even get shock when they saw me. Is it normal for him to do that?'
'It's pretty clear that we're engaged you know? I mean... Even though we hide our necklace. Our earrings are still the same model but just different sides. It shows the world that 'Hey! We are together!' It's pretty cringy now that I think about it.'
'What do you mean cringy? You don't like it anymore? Stop spouting nonsense! I know you still like it. Anyway... It does makes sense now that I think about it. We have a matching earrings.'
I just smirk when I hear that... It's true though. There's no way that I think of it as Cringe... It's just for a dramatic moment... And yes, I like it still. I like to show to other people that she's mine and I'm hers...
Anyway. Astel put his boards up. It's three board that he put up together... Giving a lot of information...
'So, You might've heard that the King and the Duke is having a fit right now. From what I've heard, the King has been using the citizen to test the new military equipment. And being the dumb citizen people are... They agree to put their life on the line to a really risky experiment that have no way of succeeding without risking their life...'
He continues writing... Mashura look at me and then she stated in the Telepathy.
'Hey Alfredo... I feel quite bad for Astel. And also, I feel like we wasted our time waiting for him. So, can you heal him using the Living Slime Therapy?'
'I think I do. I think I can heal him with that. But the think is... I want to make sure that he's not lying... If he lies about this information. I will leave him as is. But if he is truthful. In the end, I will give him a free healing session...'
Mashura smiled when she heard about my plan. Mashura is not the type of person who is naive like most people... She have sympathy. But she want to make sure that her sympathy is not her own downfall...
And there's where I come in... She would tell me what she wanted. If she wanted to save Astel, I will be there to make sure that, Astel is not betraying us... I will check if someone is worthy to receive her Sympathy...
'So, with that in mind... The Duke family started a Rebellion against his big brother. He didn't like how the King treated the citizen. And so, he dispatch his knights to rebel against the King. But it failed. The King has make an army of what known as a Homunculus. It seems like the King has work together with a noble from Alkem kingdom. I've heard that the King want to turn the citizen into a mindless monster that he can use to fight... But so far, he can't do that because the noble had died in a recent Alkem Orc Disaster.'
Mashura and I were shook when we heard about that... We look at each other and then through telepathy, discuss this once again. We uses the time to discuss while Astel is writing.
'It makes a lot of sense huh. Now that we heard about the full story about it.'
'True. I never thought that the dirty nobles would work with the king of Arstury. I guess, no wonder he wanted to start a coup to overthrow the current king to become the king himself... He clearly has his mind set to his goal. To take over the world with his monster army.'
'Do you take anything out of that piece of information as well, Alfredo? I just catch what you just said right now. I don't know if there's another information that we can take from that piece of information that Astel had provided.'
'Yeah. I do know another piece of information. Astel said that the the King can't turn anyone to a further monster because the Noble had died. That tells me that the source of the Monster is Aligh. And we killed the nobles. That tells me that this matter should've been resolved already. But we can't take our chances by leaving any partner alive...'
I told her what I think I caught from Astel information... Mashura nodded in agreement. She agrees with what I think... It's really good that we caught that information. Because with what we know and done... It means that Alkem are safe from any of that jazz...
But we don't know if there's another country that are involve in this shenanigans...
'So, I want to ask for your help, Alfredo. I know your ability. And I trust it a lot. So, I will ask you once more. Will you join this operation?'
"Pfft... Of course I will join... Me and my Fiancée here are going to join on this operation. Along with Four other people that I trust. Don't worry about them. They're strong. The two of us train them and provide them with proper equipment."
'I see... That's great then. I won't ask any information any further. I will send a letter to the Duke. Tomorrow morning. Please come back to the Guild so that you guys can discuss about what to do.'
"Yeah. See you tomorrow then, Astel. I hope you don't betray me."
Astel just smile and then shake his head... Mashura and I walk out of the guild and then when we are walking through the guild once again. People ignore us completely. They're drinking and just look away...
With that... Mashura and I get out of the guild nicely...
"Alright. Tomorrow morning right? Let's go back at that time then."
"Yeah... Let's wait for David, Yuri, Daniel and Margaret to come back. Let's go back to Rhea Absolut for a bit, Mashura."
"Sure. I have some thing that I need to ask to you anyway."
