Chapter 45: The Moon Festival Date.

Eventually... The time that the two of us has been waiting comes... The sun is completely down... The festival atmosphere really shown in the city. They put out lantern and other sort of festive lights.
The atmosphere can be felt really warm and cozy... People are wearing some sort of clothes that we never seen before... But it's a uniform... But the one who wear those uniform is the workers though. While the visitors is just wearing whatever they wanted...
Of course, Mashura and I walking side to side with little space in between. We really want to hold hand while walking... But we need to calm ourselves down because, we're only going to do any of that later when we go back to Rhea Absolut...
"Heee... So this is the Moon Festival huh... This is the first time I ever feel it."
Mashura stare in amazement. She definitely likes the look of the Festival. It put a slight smile on my face when hearing her warm tone. She try to keep a cool face. I think she can do it easily. Keeping a straight face like this...
"You never feel this before Mashura? When was your knight period that you were sent here?"
"Well, I was sent here by the Knights to protect the city, as usual. But it's not like I'm the only one they sent. All the knight were sent here to protect the city because at that time, there's some strange activities going on. So they ask for help from other city."
I see... So you didn't go here at the time of Moon Festival... Truth be told, I never really do go here either... I feel like the only time I left Engineas is only for work. I never really take any vacation or days off from my job...

Mashura seems like she's enjoying the food. While for me, I too, enjoy it. But I enjoy it at a much slower phase...
"Hey Mashura. Do you feel there's something strange with the Festival?"
Mashura continue chewing and then nodded awkwardly.
"Yeah. I feel like there's something happening in the city that we didn't realize."
I see... So it's not just me huh... I just notices there's something strange because the atmosphere suddenly turn to a colder atmosphere... People are still enjoying the Festival. But the Worker that wear the uniform... Is going around checking things out... And strangely, that is the something that makes the atmosphere cold.
The stand owners wear normal clothes. Not a uniform... So that makes me think that they're actually guards that is keeping the safety...
'But why does the Guard goes around looking for something. Right?'
'Exactly. It's something that is strange in my eyes.'
'Don't think about it too much. Just enjoy the Festival. Trust me, it's nothing important that we need to take care. It's probably just the reminiscence of the Orc and Nobles.'
... Okay then. I trust you, Mashura... I calm myself down and then we continue enjoy the Entire Festival. We walk all over the city, trying to find things that interest us... And we play a lot of games in the festival... Of course, there's an Archery Game that we stop to now...
"The rules of the Archery games are simple! Shoot all the target in the designated spot! The more spot you hit, the better the rewards are going to be! If you manage to get all the spot! We will give you this!"
The Owner of the game take out a special Bow. It's a Red Magic Bow...
"This is the Fire Magic Bow! You don't need to use arrow to use this!"
Hearing that. I smirked and then grab the Bow and Arrow... There's 12 Target that's moving. And he said that the more target I hit, the faster it will be moving...
'Good luck Alfredo~ I know you can do it!'
'I know I can too! The owner might as well give us the Bow for the price of 10 Lorror.'
Yes, the price to enter is 10 Lorror... It's cheap in term of price...
I use my buffs and then take aim... And then Quickly, I release it.. The arrow pierces through the target.
"Oops... It seems like my bow skills is still top notch."
It's right on the target... The owner was impressed. But he touch a button that makes the target goes faster.
The faster it is... The more at home I feel... And all twelve Target is easily shot by me... I smiled and then spin my bow around.
"Thank you for the reward. Owner~"
"Guuuh... Here's your reward!"
He gives me the Magical Bow and then I grab it... I immediately put it on my shoulder and look at Mashura.
"Let's go."
She nodded and then we continue our walk... Beneath the moonlight that's showering its light toward us gracefully... We enjoys the night air combined with the aroma of spices being fried... We continue walking beneath the lantern toward the center of the city...
We walk toward the more active area of the city that is the park... Where couples stays to enjoy their lovely time with their respective partner... The night air is cold, but it's comforting...
We go to the corner of the park where no one is there... And then, we sit down quietly...
"Hey Mashura.... I love you Mashura... From now on to the future... Will you be my Girlfriend?"
I asked her naturally. I planned on asking her out in the Rhea Absolut. But as expected, my mind just blanked because of the pain from being pierced...
And now, it's the perfect time...
"... Yes... I will absolutely be your girlfriend..."
Mashura hug me and then I hug her back... We continue doing that before I gather my courage. To immediately do the last part of the plan...
