Chapter 61: How do you guys meet?

Before I can actually bring Mashura out to the capital. She's currently speaking with David and Yuri about something... So, I sit down beside her and look at David.
"What are you guys talking about? I want to join in."
"Ah. Captain... Vice Captain Mashura is asking us where are we coming from."
"I see... Go on then. A little bit of background talk is not going to end bad in our long term crew relationship."
I smiled and then continue to listen... Mashura immediately circle her arm around me and then just look at them... Why do I look like the girl here? She's my lady, I'm the one supposed to put my arm around her so that everyone know she's mine... Not for everyone to know I'm hers...
But anyway... Since that happened, I just circle my arm around her hip and then pull her closer... And we both look at David and Yuri...
"So, we're born in the sea. Our Parents are the former Captain and Vice captain of the Keerson Pirate Crew. Of course, when time arrive for our parent to retire from the pirates life... We take over the crew and make it the David Crew. With my Sister as the Fighter and me as the Defender... We dominate the sea. As long as it's in the sea, we can't lose...
Being born in the sea, We know our way around the sea. We know what to look for in the sea. Gathering food, seeking good island to stay and repair our ship and many more stuff..."
"But when it comes to the Ground, we suck really bad... And that's why... When the dragon appear... Our crew started running to the ship. And with just a single breath... All of them were dead..."
I see... That's definitely a good story... But the ending is a bit scuffed huh... Poor crews... If only we arrive a little bit faster...
"Captain. Can we hear your story? How did you and Vice captain meet and get engaged?"
Mashura look at me and then nodded. Telling me to tell them about it... Hmmm... How do we meet huh... It's been a while since I told this story to anyone...
"Well... We met each other when I'm Four years old and Mashura at that time is Seven Years old... At that time, We met because she stumble in front of my house... Of course, I took care of her wound a bit... And when I know that she's older than me, I'm interested.
I always told her to stay and play around with me because I have no friend... And of course, Mashura did... She come around to play with me everyday... She always come at Five AM and then go back at Eight PM... We spend a lot of time with each other...
Until one day, At six years old, my parents left me at an orphanage... Of course, Mashura didn't know about it... But she STILL managed to find me in about a week! Really... Lucky... As a man, I'm really lucky that she still stick around with me...
But at one point... After all of that time together... One night... My Orphanage... Was burned down to crisp... Leaving everyone dead to burn... I ran... I ran as fast and as far as I can...
At Twelve Years old... I bury all of my memories about the Orphanage and mistakenly bury my memory about Mashura as well...
We spend Eight Years Together... And then after an accident, it's all gone... And all of it, is my mistake... To this day... I still feel bad... Leaving Mashura alone for the past Six Years... After we care for each other..."
Mashura just plant her face on my shoulder and then I can feel that her eyes is watery and crying... Truth are, I'm trying so hard to not cry... Because It still scars me...
David and Yuri just stay quiet, didn't know how to react to our past. You know, it's more than what they asked for... But hey, it's still not enough...
"And then After Six Years... After I go to Rhea... I have a strange dream... It keep showing me the time I spend with Mashura... But at that time, I didn't know about it... So I ignore it... But, after I found Rhea Absolut... The dream appear a lot more often... Every time that I happen, I felt like I miss something... And so, I investigate the Orphanage once more to eventually, meet with Mashura again..."
This is the last bit... Mashura just wipe her tears off with my shirt and then look at David and Yuri...
"After we meet again, we immediately felt an instant connection... Eight Years that we spend together, made us remember everything even though we lost that Six Years... The moment we met, I ask her to come with me to adventure. And she accepted. Because she has quit her job as Knight Commander Two Years prior to our meeting... And things escalate from there! We go to Aligh, fight an orc lord, and then have a kerfuffle with the Alkem Kingdom Royal Family. So, we ditch them and go back to Rhea..."
After I say that, Mashura immediately follow up my story.
"But before we go here... Before we had the Kerfuffle... The night before it... We sat down at the Park, It's the Moon Festival. It's Festive and calm... And then, during the time where we're resting in the park... Alfredo... Uses that time to Confess his feeling to me. Mind you, we're not dating all of this years. Even after meeting again, we're not dating! We're close! But we're not OFFICIALLY dating. We like to think that we're dating...
But anyway. He confesses to me and then... He just... Ask me out... Giving me this, as the Engagement Necklace instead of Ring..."
She pull out the Sea Dragon Necklace and I pull out mine... It's definitely complimentary... Yuri and David was impressed by the Necklace... Since it's perfectly shaped... I'm happy about this work of mine, definitely...
"I see... It's not as great as we thought it is... But when we hear about it... We're glad that nothing truly wrong happen to you guys..."
Yuri stated. David agrees... Yeah... We too, thought something like that.
"Anyway! Let's go down to Rhea!"
"Let's go!!!"
David and Yuri is definitely excited... They immediately go to the door and then waited for us... Mashura and I hold hands with each other and walk toward them while chuckling remembering the past...
