Greyson
This was definitely Hell to me.
I was officially the biggest dumbass in the world. Maybe I should get the Guinness Record for that. Me, being a f*****g i***t. No matter how people considered me the genius in my classes before, even racing, now I felt like an i***t.
“How about this one?” Lola showed a floral one-piece dress to me. That looked good on her. Peach colors suited her the best. Any colors would do.
“No,” that’s what I said to her. Making her feeling even more depressed.
She looked at the dress and put it back in her closet before she scanning to the others. Lola would fit anything, long dress, short dress, blouse, even a bikini…not. The bikini was out of the list if she was not with me. And that floral dress was a f*****g no-no because she would be showing her naked shoulders to practically everyone.
Another reason? Because she won’t be with me.
I was currently helping her choosing clothes for her to wear for her date this upcoming Saturday. With Caelan. Yep, not me. It was Caelan.
Another thing that made me so pissed off today was Lola asked me to not pick her up because Caelan Pearson was taking her home. I was grateful because he took her straight home, otherwise, I would look for him and mutilate him into pieces.
And I had the chance to personally introduced myself to him.
Honestly, that man was way too polite for my liking. Usually, I could easily read what men wanted from Lola. But Caelan, he was hiding it too perfectly. Men were a wolf, and Caelan was a man, he was no different. He was kind of shocked seeing me with Lola but I explained her brother was out of the country for work purposes so she stayed with me temporarily. I didn’t regret telling him that because Caelan had to know. Maybe I should just tell him I was her boyfriend so he would f**k off but Lola would be mad at me. Also, so Lola won’t bother taking him into my haven. But obviously not into his nest as well.
“This is good. How about this?” She presented another one-piece dress, this time a blue dress with white polka dots. What the f**k with one-piece dresses?
Once again, “No,” I said the same. Lola had her eyes on me. “What?”
“You’ve been saying the same thing and this is the fifth one.”
“Because I don’t like them.” You lied you f*****g piece of s**t.
Not because they looked back, they looked too good on her so I didn’t like it. I refused if she had to show her looks around Caelan.
“Why the hell are you choosing dresses anyway?” I questioned.
“Men usually like a dress, right?”
“Not to me.” Well, I liked them obviously. I just didn’t want her to know. “It’s still cold nowadays, you will freeze.” I knew what Lola was thinking. She wanted to wear a dress and showing her legs around. Those man-magnet-legs, she never realized that even though she was short, her skinny legs were alluring to men, including me.
“What should I wear then?”
“Sweater.”
“You’re joking.”
“I’m not. It’s useless anyway if you’re asking me. I will only comment if it looks good on you or not, not something that Caelan wants. You know him better so you should know.” Again, the f*****g stupidity. My act was just encouraging Lola to keep communicating with Caelan. What a dumbass.
“I can’t ask him what he likes, that will be awkward.”
“It doesn’t mean you should ask the man himself. You know him for almost a year now and judging by how he acts towards you, you know what he likes. Besides, if the guy is serious about you, he won’t mind you wearing anything as long you’re feeling comfortable with it.”
Lola’s eyes blinked with excitement, realizing that’s what she should be doing.
She smiled. Her cheeks were slightly flushed. Damn it, she was the cutest!
“Thank you, Greyson. You’re right. I still have time to think about it. And you are a man so I should ask Faye about it. Thank you.” She put the blue dress back inside her closet and closed it. She turned to me. “What would you like for dinner?”
“Meatloaf.” Easy answer.
“Again?”
“Yes. You still have the ingredients in the kitchen.”
“I don’t want you to get bored with meatloaf.”
“Never. Not when you’re the one cooking it.”
“You’re exaggerating it. I won’t be cooking for you anymore when you have a girlfriend one day.” What the hell? Where the f**k that came from?
“I’m not seeing anyone, Lola.”
“Well, are you planning to?”
“No.” Again, an easy answer. But…I was currently seeing someone and she was standing right in front of me. “I’m not that hungry now. Come cuddle with me, Lola.” Her eyebrows jumped. “For the old time's sake. You used to cuddle with me.”
“When we were in secondary school.”
“Sometimes you’re still doing it with me, especially when you remembered about your parents.”
She exhaled. A little bit of sadness could be seen from her brown eyes. f**k you, Greyson. Great f*****g job.
Lola walked closer to me who was still laying my back on her bed. I spread my arms and he pushed her body to my chest, instantly making me felt relaxed, and wrapped my arms around her tiny back. Jesus, she smelled divine. The scent of strawberry invaded my nostrils, my absolute favorite scent.
She had his temple on my chest as I started caressing her soft and shiny black hair. “Greyson?”
“Hm?”
“Are you okay?”
“Why you ask?”
“Usually, you wanted cuddle if you’re having a lot of thinking, not just me,” she explained and I smirked. Lola definitely knew almost everything about me. Almost, because she had no idea how I felt about her.
“I wasn’t thinking about anything. I just missed doing this with you.” Yeah, and being an asshole I was, I used this advantage on her. Lola won’t question anything because I was her Greyson. Her best friend. The only man she trusted besides Dylan.
And as our minds were connected, “I missed it too,” she said the same thing. “I missed the old days where we don’t have to be bothered how people would talk about us.”
“f**k them.”
“Greyson.” Her tone hinted at the threat. Ooh, scary.
“Sorry.” Lola never used to blue language no matter how many times I had thrown it with her beside me. She would cover her ear if someone, a stranger suddenly cursing and swearing in public. Lola never swore and I was amazed how she could do that. Because I had the filthiest mouth and possibly the filthiest mind.
With her wrapped tight on my hold, showing so many openings, and being so vulnerable, all I could think of how I was going to savage her natural pink tiny lips. Making them swollen and changed color into red. Infiltrated her mouth and claimed her tongue, doing a blazing tango inside until she moaned. And then, I would flip us over so she would be on my mercy under me with me playing with her, excuse me, tiny breasts but perfect for me. I never liked a C above boobs. I felt like looking at two watermelons. And of course, the part I loved the most, her delicious creamy untouched p***y. I could bet a thousand dollars that Lola never shaved. No, she was the type of girl who would never show her body around except to the man she loved. Hell, she won’t show her garden of Eden to a waxing lady.
But yes, that was my wildest imagination. Not just the wildest, but also the dirtiest. Well, it could be dirtier if my dream became reality. There were so many things I wanted to do with her.
But imagination would stay as imagination.
A dream would stay as a dream.
Nothing would happen unless I made a f*****g move and made it my damn reality. A reality I would never get.
Lola suddenly shifted by raising her head so we would be looking at each other. Her caramel round eyes. Those cute eyes. Adorable and innocent gazes. Those eyes were mine before. If everything ran perfectly smooth without any disturbance, she would be Caelan’s in a second, something I didn’t want but I had to let it go. For my sake. And hers as well.
Her eyes went down to my chest and patted it before she pushed herself from me, quickly making me missed her warmness around me. “I have to make dinner now. I can hear your stomach growling,” she said. Did I let out that sound?
Lola walked out of her room, leaving me…hardened down there. “f*****g hell,” I groaned and cursed at the same time.
Wait.
Did Lola feel it too and that’s why she left?
If that was the case, oh, f**k me.
