When Randy and Lyle had first sat down, Randy had offered to buy Lyle a late breakfast or an early lunch to pass the time. It had only taken two repeats of that offer to get Lyle to accept. Lyle had eaten like he’d never seen food before, which at least set Randy’s mind at ease over the possibility Lyle might have been coming down with something.
