Rose’s POV;
“Yes, I am, but listen, Uncle Pete and David, the two of your attackers passed away this morning!” I informed him of the grave news and was met with an expected reaction.
“WHAT!” His eyes were popping out of his sockets. For a moment, he was out of breath.
“That can’t be….!” He added breathlessly.
He passed his hand through his hair and even in such a tense state, he looked exceptionally handsome.
I could hear his heart racing against his chest. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm himself.
I gave him time to adjust to the awful news. I thought he could handle it better as he is not just a normal werewolf but the Werewolf king but his extreme reaction shocked me a bit.
I don’t know if he was sad, shocked, or terrified of the news.
