Chapter 8

In the alpha’s office, the Luna, beta, delta and the alpha’s daughter,Shawna, are all present there discussing how the attack caught them off guard, and also discussing the level of casualties that befell them.

“The attack today was brutal, but all thanks to our brave warriors who fought with dignity and stood firm in the fighting, they are the protectors who protected their home, their children, their families and above all protected the pack against any danger” said by the alpha to the people present in his office.

The rest of the members in the office was happy, and the emotions flowed across them to the rest of the pack, letting them know and feel how proud their alpha is about the showcase of their bravery today in the war. All in the offfice jammed their hands together and also cheers for their alpha for such encouraging words after the attack, it showed them how important they are to their alpha.

“I’m beyond proud today with our pack members, because no matter how the enemies thought we are unprepared for their attack, we proved them wrong by showing them we are still the number one pack in our environment, and no matter what, we are going to come out victorious all the time. I want to point out how my daughter has continued to amaze me with her skills all the time whenever it comes to protecting what’s hers, You are my pride Shawna” said by Luna Samantha. The Luna and her daughter hugged each other emotionally, while the alpha joined his family with the group hug, giving each of them a kiss to their forehead which signifies how much he adores them. Alpha’s never joke with their family or their pack. Alpha Xander is known for his possessive nature when it comes to his family or his packs.

The beta and the rest present in the room always watch how the alpha adores his family and how much of a great leader he is, they all learns from his way and show as much love to their mates as well.

After the display of affection of the alpha towards his family, and the rest of the pack members which was passed across through the pack mind link, the beta breaks his silence on what’s bothering him.

Everybody takes a seat in the office, everyone sits the way they like without any rules of where beta or delta should be or how the pack warriors should sit in the office. The Luna sat beside the alpha at right hand side while Shawna, the alpha’s heiress sat at left hand side of her dad. The beta and the rest sit the best way they are comfortable with.

“I hope we have not forgotten how Sandra fought at the attack today, she fought like she has been doing that for years, also the strength and swiftness she showed us, she saved part of the members from a rogue who was trying to attack them” commented beta Derek.

“Her strength amazed me” delta Peter also added.

Alpha Xander contributed to the conversation saying, “ Shawna really shows she has not been living with us for nothing, and that she can protect herself if any danger should comes her way in the future . I wonder who thought her how to fight like that, as far as I know, she does not join us for training nor watch us when we are training, maybe her mother, the packs doctor always makes sure she trains. I want Shawna to keep an eye on her, I want to know how well she can fight.”

“I was surprised to see her fighting as well, but I think she still needs training judging by how Shawna saved her from getting killed” the Luna said.

Beta Derek asked the alpha, “when will the pack doctor be back from her trip?

Alpha Xander said “the pack doctor said she would be back next week, Judging by the attack, I need her to be back latest by next week. Derek make sure you call her and inform her of my decision, we don’t want her postponing her trip Incase she’s planning to”

The Luna responded saying, “ I doubt that,because Sandra will be celebrating her birthday really soon, and she would not want to miss it for anything in the world”. (Shawna has been quiet since the whole conversation) looking at the side, luna Samantha asked Shawna “Sweetheart are you okay?”

“I’m okay mum, just thinking about the rogues attack, I wonder who gave them the go ahead to attack us, or what draws their attention to us”? Said Shawna.

“That’s my princess, always thinking ahead. We need to make sure all the perimeters are safe, and the children should keep off from the forest now, because I do not plan on loosing any of my pack members. We need to gather information from our allies Incase there’s a possible attack at their side as well and also where the problem is coming from” replied alpha Xander.

All of them nodded to what the alpha said, and also thanked Shawna for her contribution. Everybody headed out to check their loved ones and the rest of pack members, the Luna and Shawna together with the alpha headed straight to pack hospital to check on the injured wolfs.
