The Swamp: Once the ground became moist, Jinx noted the buzzers changed. The desert ones he grew up with were annoying enough. These new ones had a habit of biting. They had green eyes, and Jinx was sure the eyes rolled back in pleasure every time one fed on him. He found them, so he named them green-eyed gits, green-eyes for short. They worked in pairs. One would buzz your head, keeping you busy, while the other would look for any exposed flesh and take a square chunk of meat. Once one struck it rich, others closed in to grab their chunk of flesh.
