Rosabelle's POV- "Where are we going?" I ask Dargan while he just drags me somewhere. "Library." "What?! I thought we were going somewhere where..." Well, where? "Where?" "Umm... we could spend time together." I say and he looks at me. "I mean that's what you said. I don't want to." I shrug. "Very well." He says and I look at him dumbfounded before regaining my composure. We get inside big open doors and my mouth falls open seeing the vast library spread in front of me. Damn! "Why are we here?" I ask him again before all the workers inside the library, even the care taker of the books go away. "Come with me." He says and drags me through several rows of shelves before climbing the stairs of the the one hidden in the corner. "Can you slow down? I can't keep up with you." I say irritated. How high does he wants to take me? "Can you walk fast? I can't keep up with you." He says giving me a glance and I narrow my eyes at him. "Did you just steal my lines?" I ask him withdrawing my hand from his grip and placing it on my hip. "I did. Now what will you do?" "I'll storm off here!" I say and turn to climb down hoping he would come after me but he doesn't. "Go on. Don't whine about the climb when you climb again." His words stop me and I turn to glare at him "I won't come back." "You? I'll f*****g make your whole family come here!" He suddenly says and storm towards me before I let out a shriek and try to climb down. "Rosabelle, come back! You'll fall and hurt yourself." But I don't listen to him. "Bella, stop!" He suddenly says and I halt before turning around to look at him. "Are you gonna apologize for—" I say while taking one step up but my leg slips and my hands spread at my both sides. "Bella!" Dargan steadies me on my legs as he grabs my arm before I could fall. He then wraps his arms around my waist making sure I won't fall again and sticks me to his chest. Once I get steady, I look down to see the height we are standing at. "Phew!" "Why do you need to do the opposite of what I say?" He asks clearly not pleased. "Why do you always drag me everywhere?" "Why can't you just trust me and co-operate?" He retorts back clenching his jaw "Well, why can't you co-operate and tell me?" I whisper back being so close to his lips. "You need to know things in order to rule fairly. You will read the books that I suggest you. And dare you reveal those to anyone else. Especially your maid of a friend." He says instantly making anger boil in my veins. "She is my friend and I won't listen anything against her." I say before pushing him away which makes him stumble and he falls on the staircase. As he sits there glaring at me, I walk past him, making sure the fabric of my gown brushes against his face. I reach the floor and smile seeing the deep row of book shelves. I instinctively run my fingers through them while continuing walking. Though there are many book shelves, they aren't of much height up here. The books are thick and seem important since they are hidden from the rest of the corners. "Do I have to read all of these? I have already read many back at home." I say only to get no response. I roll my eyes as I know he is giving me a silence treatment because I pushed him away earlier. "Will you answer me? Look I'm already here so just tell me what I need—" I stop as suddenly the lights of the floor go off. I turn around and hear several clicking sounds consecutively as one by one each floor in the library loses its light. I stand still for a moment in utter darkness before the silence starts creeping me out. I stretch my hand out to hold onto the book shelf at my right. I place my hand on the book when suddenly it falls. "Ah!" I let out a scream and flinch away from the shelf. I let out a shaky breath and smoothen my dress in nervousness. "Dargan?" I call out in a whisper before gulping and readying myself to call him out louder. "Dargan?" I say a little louder when suddenly a book falls behind me. "Huh!" I breath turning around and slowly bending to pick that book. I turn to the shelf it fell from and push it inside its rightful place before turning again. The book behind me produce a little creaking sound that makes me stick to my place. My breath comes out slowly as it gets dragged and dragged before softly falling on my spread gown. Tears fill my eyes as I conclude. I'm alone here. And probably with a ghost... mostly likely sent by Dargan's mother. I don't think anyone else can pull out those tricks than her. "Dargan?" No response. Not even from the books. I take a deep breath because this requires courage. "DARGAN?!" I shout his name so loud that I'm certain it had reached very corner of this library but the silence still prevails. I think I should slowly make my way outside the library while I still can. I take slow steps and near the staircase. Where is he anyways?! He was right behind me! As I'm about to take a turn, suddenly, all the books from the shelf at my left starts falling. Oh Goddess! My heart thumps against my chest and I quickly snap my head to look over the railing only to find a dark hollow. My legs work on their own and I quickly head for the stairs when suddenly a hand comes around my eyes and another holds my hands behind my back. My capturer comes in front of me and bends me backwards over the railing. "Get off me!" I try to wiggle out of his grip but my capturer presses his front to my front and before I know a pair of lips has claimed mine. I instantly realize who it is as my lips brush against his and that little cut on his lower lip. As instantly I realize who it is, I feel a little shudder pass through my womanhood as well. I decide to pull away first before returning his kiss with full passion as an idea strikes my mind. With my both hands bound and his both hands occupied, we struggle with just our faces as we try to dominate one another. His tongue battles with mine as he engulfs my whole mouth at once. His teeth bite my lips and his mouth is trying to eat my whole mouth. His lips being the only soft thing about this kiss. My hands hurt behind me and I need to keep myself balanced as half of my body is dangling in the air but I can care less as we both continue with our own little game. I hear him growl in lust and our head movements get more furious where he tries to dominate me and I try to escape. He forces his tongue in my mouth and sucks on mine. After a good few minutes, we break apart but I'm still unable to see him because of his one hand covering my eyes. As we both breath out heavily, I get myself ready to execute my little plan. "Umm... C'mon, continue please. You are so good with your lips... I wanna taste them again. I swear this was the best kiss of my life and I bet you know how to use your lips just in right places, don't you?" I say before giggling. I don't even wanna think what made me say that! But I have heard things and me along with Nina has made disgusting faces at it together. "WHAT THE f**k DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Dargan shouts uncovering my eyes. As expected, the consequences of my action was his anger. HAHAHA! I laugh an evil laugh in my head before giving him a bored look. "Oh, it's you. I thought I finally got someone new to have fun with." I say bored as I push him a little away and stand straight. His eyes give off many emotions before he grips my jaw and waist tightly. "You thought it was someone else and enjoyed it?" He questions darkly. "Well, you should've thought before kissing me from nowhere. What if someone actually tries this and I kiss him thinking it's you again?" I say through squeezed jaw and my question makes him frown and puts him confusion which pleases me utterly! He shakes his head before dangerously looking into my eyes. "If I see you with another man, I'll cut his tongue off, then seal his lips before ripping his arms off his body followed by his legs and then I'll pull off his head. And all the while he wouldn't be able to scream. Do you understand me?" He says and I stand still. Not liking my defiant nature, he pinches my waist. "Do you understand me, Bella?" He asks again using my nickname this time and I can't help but nod. I don't want him to get worked up because of this little joke when that was my plan in the first place. "Calm down, brother. Your plan just got backfired. She pranked you instead." Suddenly I hear Eleanor's voice before hearing her chuckle a little. Eleanor chuckling? That's something I will remember till my death. My head instantly snaps down, over the railing and I see her standing on the floor, looking upto us. As if her words make sense to Dargan, he lets go of me and I see a corner of his lips lifting upwards in a trial of smiling towards Eleanor. It's almost like he feels awkward sharing a smile with his sister. I look towards Eleanor again and see her smile, but her eyes surprise me as they hold so many emotions. I can clearly see she feels heavy with all the emotions running through her that are ready to burst out through her eyes. The brother and sister hold each other's gaze for a few seconds before Eleanor glances at me, and looks down before leaving the library without any more words. But I feel her eyes conveyed a lot more than she could put into her words. Ever. Why does this feel like a brother-sister union?
