Dargan wants Rosabella. He needs her. Not because of her beauty; not because he loves her, but because she is the key to finding his kind. He has never known any other Dragon than himself and he is hell-bent on finding his kind while living among the 'wicked' werewolves as he thinks of them. The only good thing about being among them: he is the Alpha King; King of all kings and Alpha of all alphas.
Therefore, when the Alpha of Mighty Moon Kingdom comes with his daughter’s hand for marriage to Dargan, there is no reason for him to deny the marriage with Rosabella.
