AIDEN: My phone was the first thing I reached out for as soon as my eyes fluttered open. I pressed down on the power button to check what time it was, it was almost late into the morning and I had slept late again. My lips stretched into a smile when my eyes moved over to the bedside table and caught sight of the photo I and Cielle had taken the previous day on our trip. We had both received a copy of each of the photos and I had carefully laid it on the bedside table before I went to bed. I reached out my hand and took the picture. My eyes studied it carefully, especially Cielle's face, the glow on her face and the spark in her eyes made me happy. I liked the fact that the deep hollow of sadness I had seen in her eyes the day I visited had been replaced by that glow, and I could not h
