I winced when my phone rang out loudly with the alarm, and without thinking much, I hit the snooze button for the fifth time that morning.
Only moving my hand to turn off the alarm caused a series of pain inside of me and caused me to wince even louder.
Opening my eyes equally was another herculean task for me that morning because they were swollen and painful, I whispered a curse at Jason as I struggled to sit up and rested on the headrest.
