Prologue
What do you believe in? Who controls your life? You or higher powers? Maybe it's all just coincidences! There are laws of nature, things we can be sure of ... Time goes on The sun rising and setting The moon becomes whole, then disappears slowly again and repeats. After summer comes autumn and after winter comes spring. These are things that we can not doubt, it's just the way it is! What about everything else? Is life determined by our own free will? Is our life determined by ourselves? Is there nothing in this world other than free choice? What about luck? The sun shining on your wedding day, it’s good luck. The house burned down during a thunderstorm, it's bad luck. It sounds like coincidences ... A higher power that rules our lives, a destiny ... If this is true, then what is the meaning of life? Are we just toys for the higher powers. Can we change our destiny? Can we choose another path, or do we just take a detour to a pre-set goal? Is there anyone other than me asking myself these questions? My life has by far seemed predetermined, and even when I was allowed to go another way, this one has also proved to be predetermined in its own way. Even though it was more or less predetermined, I still had the opportunity to choose things for myself ... but did those choices matter as such in the end? I've never been much for philosophy, and this is probably the reason. Too many questions and too few answers. My oldest friend comforts me with the fact that believing nothing has to do with answers. Faith is believing without knowing, without proof, it is a feeling that comes from within. So without trying to understand what it means, I have had to take the time to feel, look within myself for the answer. So do you believe in fate? I think I do! Otherwise, such an incredible, amazing and adventurous story as my life could never have happened. The start of my next book. Which becomes # 3 in the Moon Child series. I have chosen to post this so you can follow in advance and see when the rest of the book will be posted ... I expect it to be in the beginning of May. Happy reading Lili
