It was weeks before the landing party returned. As the king wished to do, he sent them through the bridge, through the villages, made sure it was all safe, riding on horses and with wagons of men just in case. The messenger came back, admitting all was well on Zelena and that the elders were awaiting their new healer.
The elders agreed to take in Joy and Myra, and when it came to the 2 order girls with Lia, they would be her ladies in waiting. Roxy and Emmy weren’t too happy at the sound of that but Lia told then it wasn’t like she was going to use them. Once the news came, the 9 went off on a last picnic while the maids packed for them. It wasn’t ideal but they didn’t have much clothes and they had to pack the food for them anyways.
