Lia walked with Rox, hearing her chatter away about how close they were to Eli's house, how she couldn't wait to see if there was anything edible despite them being gone almost a month. Lia looked up and around and jumped hard when Rox gasped and grabbed Lia's arm. Seeing nothing around them, she looked back to the boys and they were all on alert too.
"Your birthday is soon! Oh gods we could have already missed it." Rox deflated and Lia sighed and heard the twins mutter something about women being over dramatic and it was only Des who was tripped when Rox sent her foot back and up to create the rock to form in front of him.
