"You know...if you wanted breakfast on the same hill we were on last night you could have said something." Lia called out as she approached him on the hill.
"I thought the twins could do a better job."
"Really?" Lia asked with a laugh, she knew the twins couldn't have stopped her or stalled her once she knew that he was waiting or rather hiding.
"Maybe." He sighed as he pushed the blanket out so she could join him. "However... here you are, with food so I must have done something right after it felt so wrong." He told her and he was worried that if he looked at her he would see how angry she was about him trying to avoid her today.
"You are trying to avoid me so you don't feel pain." She told him as she offered him a little sandwich made out of the biscuit and sausage patty.
