"I knew i smelled trash from down the way," Isabella's voice echoed through the courtyard with a melodious tone. Her small form stepped between the guards, regal and full of fury from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. Isa stopped just short of Charlie, pulling the hood of her cloak down to show the deep blue glow of Amber's eyes looking out through them. "By order of Queen Isabella Eira, high Alpha of Lunar Snow and Daughter of High King Dante Eira you are instructed to return the she-wolf to her pack and to me." She took a step forward, her face a good foot under his, but the determination did not waver. "Listen here girl," Charlie said as his face filled with anger before adding, "You may be a highborn, but even you have no right to keep me or my pack members from the property that we bought and that we own." With a soft sigh she smiled sweetly up at him, the damascus blade wielded beneath her cloak glinting ever so softly in the sunlight as it glided through the air to rest upon the underside of Charlies throat. The soft yawn escaping her lips showed boredom at her new enemy, her eyes wandering behind him to lock with Roses. The look of fear in her eyes sent a fresh wave of anger surging through the air, and she turned her attention back to Charlie. "Don't ye worry, Beta Charlie, I'm going to kill you myself, as for now however you'll do just fine in the dungeon under my feet where you belong." Her other hand motioned towards the guards, two large warriors stepping forward into the courtyard. The crest of Lunar Snow glinted beautifully in the light upon their silver armor. Isa lowered the knife, sliding it back into the sheath at the side of her boot before extending her hand out to Rose. Isa watched as Rose pushed passed the men much larger than her with a fiery expression across her face, causing Isa's heart to fill with pride. As soon as Rose's hand touched hers, Isa pulled her in close, one hand protectively wrapping around her waist as the other gently tucked her loose hair behind her ear. The sound of Kent's voice grated the air around Isa as he spoke, "Look " Ma'am" the words rolled across his tongue filled with sarcasm. "Just give us our girl and well be on our way, all we wanted was the girl back. She wasn't to be sold, and we want her back. These two are too chicken crap to speak up, but I, aint." Kent said with annoyance. "You see Omega, if you would quiet yourself you would know that she is not property and she is most definitely not yours. She is however, my mate and your High Queen Luna." Isa spat the words out in sheer annoyance. The guards closed in around the three men, their wolfsbane coated blades the only real deterrent at the moment for them to keep still. The three men watched closely as Isa held Rose close to her, her finger absentmindedly caressing the curves of Roses slender waist. Rose stared into Isa's eyes with such love and adoration as the men watched their every move. Before Kent could speak up again, Isas's aura pressed down upon him, a low growl emitting through the courtyard as she turned to look at the scum of an omega. She nodded to the guards who drug Kent down the courtyard kicking at their heels , Bernard and Charlie being shoved forward after him towards the knights carriage. Isa turned toward Rose, holding her face between both hands. She kissed her deeply, the smell of sweet vanilla and cinnamon taking over her senses, causing Amber to purr softly and Melody to growl playfully. Isa smiled softly at Rose, upset with herself for even letting Rose out of her sight. Though grateful for her guard's warning and help, she knew she would never forgive herself because she could have kept Rose from this suffering. Rose spoke up first, her hands grasping onto the front of Isa's cloak for comfort, "Im so sorry Isa, i just wanted to clean my hands if I had known - " Isa cut her off abruptly, "No, I smelled another pack when we arrived this morning. I never should have let you out of my sight. i apologize, my Luna." Her hands slid around Rose's waist, a small smile that did not meet her eyes graced her lips. Unfastening the top of her cloak she slid it around Rose's shoulders, pulling the hood up and picking up Rose's now shredded cloak. Draping it over her arm, she wrapped the other arm around Rose's waist before guiding her towards the carriage. The plain clothes guard met them halfway through the courtyard, stopping to bow before them. "My Luna's," he said as he stood, pulling the hat from his head, allowing the shoulder-length silver curls to shimmer in the light. Erik pulled off the scarf that covered most of his face, a saddened smile gracing his handsome face. "The three men from Eden Moon have been loaded into the knights' carriage, and they are being taken back now. I will be accompanying you both back in your carriage when you are ready. However, I must insist that we stay joined at the hip until we arrive back at the pack lands your highness." He said, the worried expression never leaving his face. "Thank you Erik, I'll send a mind link to the other driver with instructions. I want the magistrate to send a letter in the morning to EdenMoon. I feel it is time we invited the Alpha to dinner." She said with a mischievous smile as she looked at Rose. Erik smirked at seeing the face of his Luna and long-time friend and he knew that look. "What day do you think would make them the most annoyed my Luna?" He asked turning to look at Rose. Rose's brows furrowed as she thought for a moment, "The pack meetings take place on Wednesdays around 5pm. If you aim to irritate, that is." She said with a soft giggle as Isa and Erik chuckled beside her. "Perfect! I'll send the link myself my Lunas. The two of you just enjoy eachothers company before we get back to the pack lands. Let us head home. The driver went and grabbed your lunches. They are waiting in the carriage with a warm flask of tea. I will also make sure Olivia has a fresh change of clothes laid out for you both upon our return." With a soft smile he bowed his head and stepped to the side to escort them to the carriage. "Thank you Erik dear," said Isa, "you are truly the very best friend and personal guard we could ever ask for. I'm not so sure if we got lucky or if the Goddess has sent you to slowly torment me from childhood." Isa gently led Rose back to the carriage, helping her up as Erik opened the door. Isa stopped before entering the doorway and looked at Erik. "Can you -" She was stopped by Erik's large grin before she could even get out her words. "I have already asked for our contact to convey our deepest apologies as well as a good-faith token to the Fae council. I had the situation explained in full as well as assuring them of the capture of the suspects. Don't worry Luna." Erik said with a smile before childishly nudging her into the door before tossing a blanket through the window. He secured the door before sticking his tongue out at Isa, getting the same back in response. Climbing onto the bench with the driver, he tapped the top of the carriage, signaling the coming movement to his two Lunas inside. The only thoughts currently rushing through his mind was, how did they get past him? Why was their scent so muted? Who are these men of little standards and long gone have they gone unchecked in the peaceful region of his Luna?
