It was a cold and silent night in the streets of Higashikagura, and no one was walking around except a few teenage locals – probably spending their nights to have fun somewhere else considering the amount of energy that each of them had as they talked to one another. I watched them as my feet continued their journey along the icy streets and could not help but feel a little safer knowing that I was not alone in that almost empty place. Though, that feeling would not last because they were going in the opposite direction as I was.   The teenage locals walked past me, and their voices slowly faded from my ears, taking away with them the lively atmosphere surrounding my space.
