Illicit.
As the doors open wide revealing us to the world of the drug cartel, the first word that comes to my head is that.
Lights, chandeliers, noise, alcohol, and most importantly drugs.
But I have to remain the facade that all these do not matter to me, and keep the stern expression I'm supposed to have.
As we walk into the room full of drug lords, we get heads turning to us as I walk majestically with the golden coloured pants and bare suit jacket on my body down to a table, while Jen walks beside me with a button up black suit.
I stare at some men passing them a mischievous, yet seductive smile, knowing they are interested in the woman who just walked in here, when after all its a room filled with men.
Apart from Nathaniel stone's wife.
I look ahead sighting Romeo king earlier than expected, together with some drug lords, and still yet no any sign of the drug couple.
"Hell, this place had some deep s**t for sure," Jen speaks as we still walk together.
"Anyone has eyes on Nathaniel or Felicity?" Holloway interrupts through the comm.
"Not at at all, but I have eyes on Romeo king," I reply Holloway while sighting him from afar, wearing a navy blue suit with his hair slicked back looking like a snack.
The lights lightly dim blue as tables are arranged five feet distanced from another, while strippers take up the stage performing sensually.
I give Jen one more look as she nods her head, giving the good to go signal on Romeo. We walk closer to him as he stands by the bar with a stripper lingering by his arm, all while Romeo not paying her any concrete attention.
Like Holloway said, he like his women in high taste.
"One Bloody Mary," I order instantly on getting to the bar while standing close Romeo. The bar guy having taken my order prepares my drink, giving me the opportunity to trun my attention to the left and meeting an eye contact with Romeo.
I pass him a small, yet seductive smile acknoledgeing his presence, while he does the same with a smirk. I notice the stripper by his side leave him when my drink is ready and I take a sip.
With no one by his side anymore, I give him another look but this time, it's a look of approach, giving him a permission of interest.
"A tequila for me," I finally hear him speak, and honestly taking me by surprise hearing how husky and rasp, yet indulging, making me turn my attention back to him.
Taking in his looks, the picture shown to me do no justice to who is in front of me. His blue eyes, seductions with secrets and danger prominent in them, yet intriguing at the same time.
His chiseled jawline and high cheekbones along with a sculpted nose, and muscular built and tall body, making me even smile the more while checking him out.
"You know if I don't know ladies that well, I wouldn't know a fine woman like you would be caught checking me out," He speaks making my attention roll back to his eyes.
"Then you must know ladies pretty well," I finally respond to him with a smile.
"That I do," He answers with a sly smile. "Romeo king," He extends his hand forward.
"I know who you are Mr king," I smile gently at him. "I'm Aurora Fisher," I take his hand in mine.
"Looks like I'm quite popular," Romeo says with a smirk.
"Well you can't be Felicity stone's brother and not gain attention, don't you think, Romeo?"
"Hmm, or maybe it's because of my charm," He sends me a wink while I smile lightly.
"So tell me, what brings a lady such as yourself here?" Romeo asks.
"It's not a men's world Romeo as I believe what a man can do, a woman can also do better," I tell him to his face while he stares at me.
"Well, that I certainly believe," He answers before taking a sip of his drink again. "But it is rare to find a woman in such a line of business," He adds.
"Only because you men believe we don't have the balls for it. But, I and my people do know how to carry it better than any man I have seen." I speak confidently.
"How come I have never heard of any Aurora Fisher?" Romeo asks intrigued making me smile lightly.
"Well things best done are best done unnoticed, just like people are." I tell him with a smirk on his lips as he returns it back.
Good.
"I like women who are more of actions than words, and you Aurora Fisher seems to be like one," Romeo adds.
"Well you'll just have to wait saw and see right?" I tell him.
"Exactly, time would tell," He adds.
"I don't think I have seen Felicity Stone yet," I speak up.
"She should be around somewhere," Romeo speaks in parables, not disclosing her information. "I hope you don't mind me buying you a drink Aurora?" Romeo asks, as the sound of my name dripping from his lips sound so heavenly.
"Trying to be a gentle man I see, Mr king," I tease him lightly seeing the bartender ready to take our orders.
"I can be gentleman when I need to be, Miss Fisher or when the woman in front of me is just too attractive not to," He admits taking a smirk to my lips.
"Well if that's the case, you can buy me a drink then," I tell him and with one last look at me he turns to the bartender.
"So tell me Romeo, why haven't I seen you around?" I ask him after taking the Bloody Mary from the bartender.
"Well I have been here and there taking care of some stuffs, but now I'm back," He send me a wink making me smile fakely. "I'm back to notice all the fine women of Aveynia," He adds trying to charm me which if I'm sure, may have worked.
Now I see why he's a bad boy.
The looks, the charm, the aura and everything that comes from him screams danger, yet I like it, but I remember what I'm here for which makes me the perfect candidate.
"So you're settling down here in Aveynia? Why I may ask?" I ask him slyly trying to get anything I can from him.
"Like I said, to notice all the beautiful women of Aveynia," He says again making me chuckle.
"I see, but I choose to believe there is more." I add looking straight into his blue orbs as I speak. "Either ways, I'm sure you'll find them at no struggle at all," I tell him trying not to look suspicious.
"Oh yes, I believe I have found one already," He says before placing his pink lips on the line of the portable cup.
"Agent Smith ask him the whereabouts of felicity and Nathaniel?" Holloway comes through the comm.
"It would be nice if I can see felicity, I do have some business ideas to discuss with her," I change the topic still looking around to sight any of the two.
"Well speak of the angel and she appears," Romeo says while looking behind me, making me turn to glance at a blonde woman in her early forties and a man with black hair, both dressed elegantly as they walk in and talk with some drug lords.
"The angel indeed," I reply sacarstically.
They walk towards us seeing as Nathaniel make a stop with one of the men, while felicity keeps walking our direction.
"Romeo!" Felicity estactic voices comes through. "It's good to see you," Felicity gives her brother a light peck as I notice their prominent height difference, even with her heels.
"Took you long enough Sister," Romeo replies giving her a smile. "You kept me waiting," He adds.
"Oh pardon me, I had some important things to take care of, you know to guarantee the success of this," Felicity says.
"Well, apart from me you have a guest constantly asking of your presence just now," Romeo says as he and Felicity both turn the to me. "Felicity, this is Aurora Fisher, apparently she's also in the line of business," Romeo introduces.
"Oh really! Finally, a woman apart from me in here," Felicity speaks with excitement and caution at the same time. "Felicity Stone," Felicity extends her hand while I take it. "I would like to hear more about your distribution." She adds.
"My pleasure meeting you felicity. These boys think it's a men's world, but I'm here to prove them wrong." I say with a bit of smile.
"Exactly." Felicity says certainly." I think I like you already Aurora Fisher," Felicity adds.
"I know, she seems to have that effect on people, and here I was thinking I am the only one with charm," Romeo comes in making me smile.
"Well don't you think that would be..." I get cut off as one of Felicity's men comes to her whispering something in her ear.
My gaze move to Jen as she too has a perplexed expression. The guy who comes leaves our presence, but not before I view a worrisome expression from felicity and Romeo.
"Is there a problem?" I ask seeing their discomfort.
"Not at all, please carry on." Felicity says with a forced smile that I realize something is wrong.
Not long after her statement, Jen comes closer to me. "We have to leave, we've just got Intel that it's not safe for us to be here," Jen whispers in my ear.
"Any idea what it's about?" I ask her but she nods her head negatively before I turn back to Felicity.
"Apologies for the delay, as I was saying, I believe you and I would..." I begin talking when the sounds of gunshots starts to fill the air.
"Oh s**t," Romeo mutters under his breath before taking out a gun from his back.
"What the hell is going on?" I ask to any of the three seeing as Jen also takes out her gun and to protect us.
The gunshots becoming louder and closer, while the room becomes into something of chaos, as the strippers all run for their lives when some dead bodies are sprayed to the floor, and each drug lord pulls out their guns.
Still with a shooting scenario, the four of us move backwards trying to find shelter as our opponents present here, are all dressed in a mask.
"Who the hell are these guys Romeo? I thought these was supposed to be secured and safe," I practically yell, as Jen and Romeo shoot at some of the guys.
"They are f*****g idiots who are going to pay for their lives after we leave here," Romeo responds angrily, shooting at another masked guy.
As if they're unending, I take the other gun from Jen, and begin protection myself because Jen seems to have a lot on her plate.
"Go, I'll cover you," Jen tells me.
"What? No, we're leaving here together. Shut up and let's get this bastards," I tell her all while shooting more.
"Where the hell is Nathaniel!" Felicity speaks up after being silent for a while.
"Why don't you worry about your self before thinking of your husband," Romeo replies her as a bullet misses us.
"And that's f*****g it. I'm done playing," The whole situation pissing me off due to the fact that I was not alerted properly of the situation, and find myself shooting at guys I have no idea of.
I remove the gun from my back pocket, plus the one I took from Jen, and move in front of Romeo, shooting each and every one of them I see in my presence, and doing the Laura and Jen style.
Jen seeing my movements also taking note as we protect one another.
"Felicity!" My head instantly snapping to the wailing voice, and my eyes bulges out seeing felicity on Romeo's body with blood oozing out of her chest.
