In Greek mythology, it's said that the aster was created by the tears of the Greek goddess, Astraea. She was so upset by how few stars there were in the dark sky, that she began to cry. As she wept, her tears falling as stardust which, when upon hitting the earth, turned to lovely star-shaped aster flowers. Thus, the flower was named after her, with aster meaning star.Even stars can't live forever also, they will die and explodes and the pieces of the star that are flung off during the shock wave will help to form new stars in the universe. Asteria is like a star runs out of nuclear fuel, turning into red dwarfs and slowly dying. A sad smile drew my face when i held her hand and laced our fingers.
