I held onto my beautiful mate, her scent of rain and vanilla was so soothing. I stared at her as she slept, a smirk playing on my lips. “We wore her out”, Marlo said proudly. I moved her hair from her face and just studied her features. She is everything to me, I can't wait to marry her. “We sure did”, I chuckled.
I couldn't sleep, not after having the vision that I did. Someone wanted Loralei, but I don't know who, all I could see was a shadow.
