When the lights came back on, Nick blinked as his vision quickly adjusted to the sudden burst of light. He, the Kid, and Siren were floating in a sea of dish debris and cooking pots since the gravity system had completely failed. The chairs and the table were floating about in the zero G, the hot coffee left in the pot hovered like a cloud of steaming, gelatinous life over the counter.
