The bar was polished stainless steel with chrome stools. The tops of the stools were covered in a glittering red plastic material that reminded me of the ruby slippers - you know the ones. They had a very retro, diner feel that wasn’t emulated throughout the rest of the venue, but somehow worked anyway. The ceiling was all exposed mechanicals. You could see all of the pipes and ducts and other things that were usually well hidden behind a ceiling. The cinderblock walls of the warehouse had been painted a warm textured bronze and mounted on them were light fixtures made of pipe and valves, so they appeared like faucets coming out of the walls, dripping light.
