SAVINA’S POV I frowned at the sudden blast of sun on my face. Even in my sleep, my stretched hands felt for the sheets as I snuggled into their softness. Nothing matched naps at dawn, where the chill of the duvet and the warmth of the morning were bound to keep one stuck in bed. Sadly, I wasn’t awarded such luxury. The sun's rays only grew brighter, a bad sign that my nap was likely not going to be possible. Accepting defeat, I peeled my eyes open, squinting at the brightness that blinded me.
