Qaletaqa and Chief Tasunka are walking around the ranch. He tells Tasunka about the rustlers and Treasure's grandparents arriving at Willow Creek Falls.
"We all will keep watch out for them. Nobody will get past us" The Chief is looking at the large herd of cattle.
"My wife fought a young woman today in town. The woman's father came here. My wife doesn't think that he would be a problem. There's something about him that I do not trust." Qaletaqa is looking over at the porch and sees Treasure, Isabell, and Flossie sitting on it and reading.
"This is a big beautiful place. Richard Abbott and all of the men treat us very well. The bed is so soft, I like that. Yellow Bird seems to love it here. I believe that she missed this life more than she thought." Tasunka is looking at some of the
