Uncas, Nock-Ay-Del, and their men went back to Qaletaqa's empty camp. They're riding in the direction of their camp. They came across Black Shawl and her people. They notice that they do not have many men with them. The male that they have are either old or haven't become a man yet. His eyes go to Azul, she has long black hair and black eyes. "Are you Chapa?" He smiles at her.
She shakes her head nervously. Sunset walks beside her and sees the lust in his eyes for Azul and thinks "I hope that he will not take her against her will." She rubs the young lady's arm "Her name is Azul. Chapa is not in this tribe. She was with Chief Tasunka. But she has traveled on to see her ancestors."
