We were all in the van heading toward the airport. Boss needed us to go to Florida to get some of his stuff and prevent N.I.C. from bringing more people into Detroit to get us. Everyone was upset though. But I could tell that Javon was pissed off. I smiled to myself.
"I actually feel so bad right now." Dreanne said. "Why cant we just tell Makayla about this?"
"Cause she will drop each and everyone of us as friends." Leah said. "She hates thugs. Her older brother was killed that way when she was nine."
"No, her older brother lives with her." Javon said.
"She had two older brothers. The one before Marqus died." She explained.
"But we really should have told her about this. This is so f****d up." Andrew said.
