Alexa’s P.O.V
“Nearly there sweetie, one more push.” The Midwife said as she stood at the bottom of my bed
“You said that half an hour ago.” I snapped at her
I never meant to but I have been in labor for over twenty hours and I had to more energy left. Grayson was next to me, holding my hand and trying to encourage me. He was only trying to help but I was still biting his head off. I was tired, in pain and frustrated as hell, I wanted to meet my baby girl.
“One more big push you can do this Alexa, I can see the baby, she is coming.” The midwife said
“You got this baby.” Grayson whispered kissing the top of my head
One big push turned to two…then eventually three and finally I heard the cry of my baby girl. I collapsed against the bed, exhausted and trying to catch my breath
