"No... No... It's okay Ken. Please let this matter slide." Afraid that the two of them would clash any moment soon, I suddenly spoke to appease their anger. Still, I tried to speak calmly even though I was shocked by Severus' sudden behaviour.
What's wrong with him?
"Miss Hirre, please use this towel to get change first." Beta Leo suggested as he gave me a clean towel.
But I kindly refused.
"Nah. It's fine. The wine will dry on its own quickly.’’ I turned to look at Ken as I added, ‘‘Ken, please don't mind me. It's just a spilled wine. Not a big deal at all."
"No, Hirre! This is not okay! This man is a jerk!" Ken roared indignantly.
I immediately stood and held Ken's arm to stop him.
