6 - The morning after

Prom was amazing last night, well until I seen my best friend and brother snogging that was.  No, I’m kidding it wasn’t that bad, I was just shocked to say the least.

**Flashback**

After their little make out session on the dance floor they eventually joined us back at the table looking a little flustered and embarrassed. Jess could hardly look at me and just sat all quiet and she nervously played with her finger nails.

“Jess. Toilets now” I said to her as I stood, and she reluctantly followed.

Once we got to the toilets, I made sure they were empty before I started talking

“What happened?” I asked her, well, nearly screamed with excitement.  She just stared at me

“I…kissed… s**t. I’m sorry Mia, I don't know what came over me” she started to stutter.

“Jess, calm down. Breath.”  I tell her, grabbing her hand.  “I’m not mad, I’m just confused”  I told her honestly.

“We talked in the car and he told me he has fancied me for a while but didn’t do anything because we are besties.  I told him I have had a crush on him since I was ten, but he just laughed. He asked to give us a shot, but I said I would speak to you first before deciding. We, I suppose just got carried away with the music”  she blushed and shook her head.

“I knew he fancied you. I just knew it. So what are you going to do?” I asked her, getting excited again.

“I don't know. I mean. It’s Myles. Your brother. And you are my best friend” she is debating this, I know what she is trying to do. Make excuses for her not to follow her heart.

“Listen Jess and listen good. You are both adults and can decide for yourselves what you want from this. I have no issue with you two dating at all. I know he won't hurt you intentionally and you the same. Why not just try it out and see where it can go?”

**End of Flashback**

Caleb and I had an amazing night after we got back to our room.  He truly is an amazing boyfriend. Not only did he make me orgasm at least three times, he bent me into different positions I never even knew I would be able to do.

We experimented and found out what we liked, which to be honest with you is a lot.  Every new position he would say that is my favourite, nope this is my favourite. I had to laugh at him though, not sure if he could make up his mind at all.

“Morning babe”  he whispers into my ear, making me shiver

“Morning sexy”  I turn around to face him and snuggle into his chest.

“You ok?”  he asks.  I nod my head and snuggle deeper.   He chuckles.  “Well, we have forty five minutes to check out and get breakfast”  he mumbles in my hair.

I let out a huff and hide under the covers, making Caleb chuckled even harder.  I did eventually get up and have a quick shower and pack up my stuff.  We headed downstairs for breakfast and found Myles and Jess snuggled on the sofa by the window.  Yes they ended up booking a room. Myles was little drunk and thought it would be best to stay.

They look so cute sitting together.  Jess playing on her phone and Myles has his arm around her shoulder, playing with her hair.

“Don't you look cute” I say as I plonk myself down in front of them

“Morning,  where is Caleb?”  Myles asks

“Taking our bags to the car”  I say,

“Where did you get the clothes?”  I asked Jess, who is sitting wearing a t shirt and trackie bottoms that belong to Myles

“My car, I always have a clean set of clothes in the car for emergencies”  he says as he pulls Jess closer to his side.

“Nice. You guys eaten yet?”  I asked as Caleb comes in and sits beside me.

“Not yet, were waiting for you”  Jess says as she sits up a little. Making Myles pout.

We all decided that we were super hungry and headed to the restaurant to get breakfast.  The buffet style counter was filled with amazing smelling food and all four of our plates were soon filled.

As we sat and ate, Caleb and Myles talking cars and about the garage, Jess and me quietly talking about, well you guessed it. Her night with Myles. She did not go into too many details but did say they had s*x and he was amazing, and she agreed to go out with him during the week.

So my best friend and my big brother are dating.  I’m so happy for them both.  They look so cute together and no, before you ask I am not worried it will cause problems with my relationship with either of them.  Let’s just hope Uncle Dave thinks the same as me.

The first few days of summer were pretty boring to be honest.  I decided to be lazy and not go to the garage straight away. I thought a few days to myself chilling out would be better, but I got bored too quick.

Jess was helping out at the local summer school, with her wanting to be a teacher she thought it would look good on her CV. So I was bored. Caleb was working and most of our other friends were actually away on holiday somewhere warmer than here.

After the fourth day of being bored I decided to head to the garage to help out.  As soon as I arrived I was ambushed with phone calls and paperwork to be dealt with. I hadn’t even gotten a chance to say hi to Caleb before being drowned with work. I have no clue how mum manages it.  She had only went to toilet when it went crazy.

A few hours later it all calmed down and it was lunch time.  I managed to drag Caleb to the café along the road for lunch, much to the others moaning and being stuck with whatever they brought with them.

I had not even told my mum what I was about to tell Caleb. I wanted him to be the first to know.

“I got accepted to Edinburgh Uni for my course, doesn't matter what my exam results are.” I blurted out as he stuffed his face with a greasy burger.

“Wow… that’s amazing.. close to home as well” he said between chewing and grinning at me. I had to laugh at his face, sauce everywhere as well as oil and engine dust.

“Yeah, means I can stay at home. Which is what I want. I don't think I could cope moving away from you” I say quietly.

“Aw, you are a cutie, so you are. I’m happy you are staying here baby. We can have so much fun together” he says wiggling his eyebrows.

After stuffing our faces we headed back to the garage. Caleb kissing me bye before he got stuck back in under the engine he was working on earlier.  I headed inside to tell mum and Myles my news.  When I told them, the two customers waiting on their cars nearly had a fit.  Once we explained the screaming they soon joined in the congratulations.

Things are looking good for now. Uni sorted, me and Caleb happy as ever and I have a summer job to keep me busy.  Let’s hope me and Caleb can get a little holiday in before Uni starts though.  I will have to organise it as a surprise.

After checking with Myles when we both could get time off it was agreed the last week in August for the week. He can’t have Caleb off for more as the others have already booked time off.

I checked online and found a few long weekend breaks in the Lake district and Amsterdam or Dublin.  I will let slip about my idea but not say anything else to him over the next few days. You know test him to see where he would prefer to go. I know Myles and mum would be wary about Amsterdam so I will try and stay clear of that one.

After a few more hours working, I had shown Myles what I had created in the software. He tested out what I had so far and to say he was impressed was an understatement.

“Hell, you don't need a Uni, you know what you are doing already?” he chuckled after he finished testing it out.

“Hardly, I was totally winging it with this.  Once I get a bit more studying done I will get it perfected. The guys will just have to cope with what they have for the moment.”  I tell him taking back the laptop.

“My girlfriend is amazingly talented.” Caleb states from the office door. All clean and oil free, looking sexy as hell in his tight jeans and shirt.

“You going somewhere?” I ask him, after I was finished staring at him of course.

“yip, out for dinner to celebrate with my girlfriend”  he says as I comes over and pulls me from my seat.

“You pair are disgustingly cute. Now away with you. See you guys later.”  Myles shoos us from his office, just as Jess appears at the reception.

“Oh hey Jess.” I shout loud enough so Myles hears me.  I hear him in the distance shuffling around in his office. Probably trying to make the place look clean

“Hey, you off out?”  she asks us as she spots Caleb in his jeans.

“Yeah, celebrating. Got accepted unconditional to Edinburgh” I tell her as she squeals hugging me.

“Me too”  the pair of us squealing and jumping up and down.  My brother soon appears from his office to see what all the noise was about.  Think he figured it out between me and Jess still squealing at each other.

What more can I ask for. My best friend staying close by for Uni. Things really are looking good.
