When she got up in the morning, Lily went through her usual exercise routine, had breakfast and walked down the road to the commune buying a newspaper along the way, but not to look for news of Greg. She wasn’t expecting him to be found until he started stinking the place out.
Some of the guys were working on the vegetable plot and tidying the garden in general when she arrived.
“Is Bob or Jack inside?” she called out as she walked past them by way of asking permission to go inside.
“I think so, Youriko, just go on in”.
