Chapter OneDANTE STARED AT THE invitation, wondering what had happened to his old high school. Had it turned all gay in his absence? That e-card sure looked fabulous, all pink and blue pastels and a touch of glittering stars to make it shine. Well, the cheerleaders had been in charge, but Dante found it more pleasurable to think the former homophobic institution was now taken over by those damned queers they used to hate so much. Still, he kind of wanted to go. When he’d left high school, he’d sworn he wouldn’t be caught dead going back there. Not the small little town he’d grew up in, not the high school, not all the hangouts he’d wanted to be in without weird stares. But now that he’d hit his thirties, melancholy drew him back. Or maybe it was stupidity. Dante sighed, his mouse hoverin
