Present day:

Naina was standing in front of the statue of her father and staring at him with hard expressions,

She moved forward and put the bouquet of lilies near the fresh Rose bouquet. For a few seconds she kept looking at the flowers and then her father. With a heavy sigh , she controlled her emotions.

The rose bouquet was the indication that Aaron had come here before her. Every year, he came to visit her father before her , she also know that when Aaron gets upset he vist here often to talk with his father and her father's grave.

She also has so much to talk about but what's the benefit now? when her father was alive, he refused to listen to her, he left her with the responsibilities, he pushed her into the darkness that she can never come out.

Without saying anything, she left,

Every year she does the same thing, she puts flowers on her father's statue and leaves without saying anything...

She had nothing to say to her father, or maybe she was still angry with her dad.

It had been six years since they are married,

but neither Aaron's hate was decreasing for her nor his anger. If she wasn't the daughter of his favourite person, he won't mind killing her into the bedroom.

Well, physically she was alive but mentally Aaron killed her the day when he abused her.

(Aaron's past behavior was appearing in her mind, even after she was trying hard to brush all of his behaviour from her mind.)

She was the only one, who had been trying in this relationship, who was putting efforts and trying to make their marriage work.

For Aaron, everything was still a joke,

Neither he was ready for this relationship yesterday nor today,

Even today his life only revolves around him, his friends, parties, and fun.

Sometimes looking at Aaron, Naina can't belive that Aaron is the son of the guy who respect women the most in his life.

Naina stopped the car, the office guard opened the door for her. She stepped out and started walking toward the private elevator.

Staff was staring at her but no one got up to greet her, because according to the staff, she was Mac's secretary.

Naina had no friendly relationship with any staff member, she never even talked to anyone, she came on her time and left on her time. Most of the time she stayed on holiday,

Some people called her rude,

For some people she was arrogant,

Some called her Mac's concubine, and some called her Mac's secret wife.

No, no, no one never missed to cast aspersions on her but she can't blame because her own husband does the same with her.

Naina all of sudden bumped into someone but before that person hold her to help her, she stepped back and showed her palm to the person coldly. But even after her rude attitude, the guy was smiling looking into her direction. Naina sighed but then ignoring him, she made her way towards the cabin.

"She always does this with you!"

"He lost his mind"

"this girl has too much attitude, god knows what does she think of herself."

" Exactly, sometimes she acts as if she is the owner here"

" You can hate her but can't ignore her, look at her style of walking and the way she pass cold looks "

" Exactly, she looks like a model who directly came out of business magzine"

Naina can hear all the comments about her but she didn't look back.

There was one more bunch of people who were very much fascinated about Naina and wanted to take her out on a date, but because of her cold nature and deadly eyes, no one ever dared to approach her. And sometimes when some guys tried doing that, they got hurt by her badly. After that many rumores spread about her as Mac kicked those guys out of the office. Many people in the office started calling her Mac's concubine , his secret girl friend and some called her his wife too.

Naina stepped into the cabin but didn't find Mac and Alex, she thought they must be in an office restaurant so without any tension she sat on the couch, rested her back on the pillow, and closed her eyes. She had many things in her plate at this moment but what was her biggest concern was her husband.

Naina had the power to free themselves from this forced marriage, and she would have done that a long time ago, but Aaron's irresponsible nature always stopped her from taking such a step. Even after having the bitter relationship with her husband, she felt concerned for him.

A knock on the door interrupted her,

She instantly got up and opened the door,

It was Jasper,

"Boss had asked me to give you this drive..." Naina took the drive and nodded her head,

Jasper twirled and was about to go out, but Naina called his name,

"Jasper!"

Jasper made a shocked face and twirled back to look at Naina,

Seeing his expressions Naina made a questioning face, " What's wrong with you ...?" she asked, moving toward the mini freeze and pulling out cold coffee,

"I thought you didn't know my name..."

Naina didn't say anything, she put her coffee on the table and picked up her bag,

"Where is the boss, and Master Alex...?"

She asked, and pulled out the bundle of cash,

"They left after lunch, they were in a hurry..." Jasper replied,

She stopped counting the notes and looked at Jasper, " Left! where ?"

"Shopping, I guess. I didn't ask them but the boss was on the call with Nathan Sir and Chris Sir. He was planning to organize some party"

Hearing his words, Naina's expression changed, she understood that her buddies had been planning her marriage party,

"What about Angelina Maam and Rosalina Maam!"

Naina counted 20k$, and once again looked at Jasper, "I haven't seen them since morning..." Jasper said,

Naina nodded her head and passed the bundle of 20k dollars to Jasper,

He was confused, " It's for your Son, " Jasper was stunned, his mouth opened wide,

Naina grabbed his hand, and put the money over his palm, "Bring the Road and bridge files, I'll take them home with me, " She said, grabbing the coffee and moving toward the giant window,

"I can't take this money, Naina...It's a big amount," Jasper said,

"It's not for you but for your child.

( She took a sip of coffee and then licked her lips)

I also talked to Boss about your son,

you can take Boss's card to William and Son's hospital and admit your son for his treatment, the hospital will not take any charges from you..." Naina said, in a professional tone.

Jasper was speechless, "I don't know how I'll pay for your favor, Naina..."

"Just pray for me and my family, that's enough...Now go and bring the files..." Naina said,

Once He left, She closed her eyes and cursed under her breath, she put the coffee bottle on the floor and dialed Angie's number,

Then Rose, and then Nathan and Chris but no one was picking up her call.

Naina was about to hit her palm over the glass wall but stopped when her gaze fall on the promise ring which Jacob had given her,

"Where life has dragged me, " She pushed her hair back and started staring at the ring,

It was clear that Naina was still madly in love with Jacob, but unfortunately, because of her responsibilities, she squeezed the neck of her love.

Jacob's Mansion:

Jacob was looking out of his private jet, he wasn't in a good mood.

they were about to land in Italy but he was feeling as if he was landing in the burning lava,

"Bro...!" hearing Amanda's voice, he closed his eyes in an irritated manner,

"Are you planning to go with this mood?" Amanda asked, sitting beside him.

Jacob rested his head over her shoulder, " No one will be happy with this marriage, neither I nor that girl, because I can't forget her...."

"Dad had given you enough time Bro, forget her like a beautiful illusion because that's what she was..." Jacob opened his eyes and looked into Amanda's eyes,

"She wasn't an illusion but she is my life, but none of you care about my feelings..." Jacob almost screamed at her,

"Then where is she? Why did she leave you... Why did she never contact you? It's been six years now, and six years is a long time...

By now she might have moved on in her life and got...." Before she finished her words Jacob raised his finger in the air, in a warning manner.

Seeing the rage in his eyes Amanda's words died in her mouth.
