The princess was definitely not herself this morning, and I don’t blame her. If everything had gone to plan, we would not have stayed the night at the ski lodge at all. And if our original backup plan would have worked, Izzy would have had a room entirely to herself with an en suite bathroom. She would have never had any occasion to leave the room until morning, and she would have been perfectly safe.
Izzy is obviously not used to being in situations where there might be any reason for her to feel unsafe, or a need to take many precautions to ensure her safety. Apparently the ski resort in Oregon that she usually goes to is werewolves only, as well as owned and run by her family.
