I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn’t just give up and go home. Before today, I thought Isabelle and I were getting along very well. But then suddenly today she has been cold and distant towards me, whining like a child even. She clearly wishes me to be far away.
At first I thought she had just been embarrassed about the previous night. That would be only natural, especially given that she was and still is a virgin. But I think I have shown Isabelle that I can be trusted, and that my discretion can be relied upon. That my word, once given, is worth something. I would never wish to cause her any undue embarrassment.
