Seven Evelyn When my front door finally slammed shut behind me, I let out a sigh of relief. I felt like the worst human being on the planet, and the only thing I needed was to be left alone with my own self-loathing. I tossed my bag on my couch and stripped out of the black dress without stopping on my way to the shower. The sooner I could no longer smell Marcus on me, the sooner I could try to forget what I’d done.
