Haya reached Hospital in the evening with tea and snacks for both Fariya and Dayyan since she knew both must have skipped Lunch. She went inside the private room and found Fariya inside and Dayyan no where insight. In the sterile, white-walled hospital room, time seemed to stretch and contract unpredictably. The rhythmic beeping of the monitors was a constant reminder of the fragility of life. Shadows danced on the walls, mirroring the somber dance of hope and despair in the hearts of those who visited.
