Jackson groaned, the light streaming through the window hurting his eyes. He took a deep breath and all his chest hurt like it was on fire. Where was he? He looked around the unfamiliar room. It was a plain looking bedroom with a chest of drawers, a chair, and the small bed he was in. He squinted against the light. The last thing he remembered was falling over the edge of the waterfall. His mind flashed back to falling, his chest tightened as the vision of the water closing over his head repeated in his mind.
