A seagull swooped down and landed on the deck of the fishing boat where Marianne, Helena and Dean were standing. The sun was high in the sky, and the smell of fish was attracting the greedy scavengers. Leaning on the rails, Helena looked out over the glistening waters. They had discussed taking a private charter across the ocean, but Dean pointed out it would take weeks, and didn’t come without risks.
