The queen's gift to the princess!
EPISODE 01 Princess Houenafa and her father, King Sossou, are both standing in the royal lounge. She talks with her father to find out what had kept him out so long that he didn't come straight home after work. The king having seen it coming understands that his daughter is not going to let him go to work if he does not say something to convince her. Houenafa stares at her father again and asks him where he spent the night: - Where were you last night, daddy? Princess Houenafa asks as she stares into her father's eyes; her arms crossed over her stomach waiting for an answer from her father. - Oh well, I see now what you were getting at. Baby, I promise we'll talk about this when I get home from work. Right now, you can see I'm already late. Do we have a deal? - No, but Daddy, why are you doing this to me? Why are you doing this to me? - What did I do now, honey? - Dad, please I want you to devote more time to mom, to give her more affection. You hardly spend any time with her anymore. You promised to change, to make efforts to make her happy but since I came back, I'm seeing the opposite. Why did you make her suffer so much? Or is it because she doesn't talk that you think she doesn't blame you and that everything is fine, Dad? You know your wife better, dad! Please, Daddy! Please do as I say! She's a good woman, though, dad! So that's the only thing I ask of you! Daddy, I'm sorry! The king turns his gaze elsewhere and his face becomes dark. He doesn't say anything right away. He is rather content to let his daughter expose everything that is buried deep inside her. - “My darling," the king finally says in response to his daughter. He pulls Princess Houenafa by the head towards him to place a kiss above her forehead before adding this precision: - We will see each other when I return. The princess is not happy with this answer of her father, but is satisfied to just look at him without saying anything. The king starts to walk out when his eyes fall on the queen who has just entered the living room. She holds in her hands a white bag with some packages inside. The king looks down. Princess Houenafa on the other hand is delighted to see her mother appear before them at this auspicious moment. Her face becomes radiant. All smiling, she hurries to greet her with politeness: - Hello mother, says the princess Houenafa by inclining her knees in sign of reverence. - “My dear! How are you?" the queen answered the princess' greeting, returning her smile. - Yes I am very well mom. The queen takes in her arms the princess Houenafa to embrace her. The return is embarrassed by the presence of the queen. He looks away so that his eyes do not meet the queen's. - You are very pretty, compliments the queen. - “Thank you very much mom. You look beautiful too," said the princess to her mother, returning the compliment. “Doesn't she, Daddy?" the princess asked, looking up at her father. - “Good morning your majesty," said the queen to greet the king. - Hello my queen. - Uh... Uh... I ca, tries to say the queen while addressing the king. - Well, says the king to cut off the queen! I have to go now. I might be late for work. I'll see you after I get back from work, princess. Okay? Have a nice day! The king then leaves the living room, leaving the two women between them. The princess is surprised to see her father leave in this way, without paying more attention to the queen. The queen in her turn is surprised to see her husband react like that. The princess watches her father leave without being able to oppose his departure for work. The two women watch the king leave the palace. The princess says to him before he is out of the living room: - Ok dad. Let's say see you tonight and come back on time. - I promise you that. After the departure of the king of the palace for his place of work which is to some meters, but always in the enclosure of the palace, the princess smiles to her mother and proposes her to sit down then she says to him: - Mom you are very beautiful. - Ah thank you very much my daughter. I find you quite beautiful too. - Thank you very much mom. They smile at each other and the queen takes the princess in her arms to cuddle her. When the princess left the queen's arms, she noticed that the princess did not look good. So she asks her without hesitation: - “My princess, why do you look like that? What is wrong with you, my daughter? Were you arguing with the king before I came?" the queen asked her daughter, stroking her hair. - No, Mama. Didn't you see the way he answered coldly when you came into the living room, when he shouldn't behave like that with you? - Daughter, I must admit that your father is not about to change his nature. This time, I have a feeling he's going to do worse. He is taking all these steps with the sole intention of making me regret my return to the palace, but I am used to his whims. Don't worry. - “I don't understand why my father can still behave like this with you when it hasn't even been long since you came back here to the palace, mom. I don't understand it. I don't understand why dad won't do me the favor of doing what I told him. Why is he doing this? Why?" asks the princess, looking at her mother. I don't know what's wrong with him and why he can't understand what I tell him. This is not something I would normally say to him. - Don't worry about it Houenafa. I am convinced that one day he will realize the evil he is doing today. Leave everything to my daughter. So please don't make a problem out of it. I just want to make sure you're okay, girl. I hope you understand me! The princess said nothing. Her face is still sad. Her mother stroked her cheeks and then asked her: - Go ahead! Smile! Smile for me my princess! Come on! - Haha! - Oh! Now I think you look better with that smile. Finally, I almost forgot. Look! This is for you. - What's that, mom? - Go ahead and open it. You have to open it to see! It's yours. The princess takes the white bag from her hands and starts to look at the bottom to discover what is hidden in the package. She is amazed at what her eyes have just seen, so she exclaims: - Wow! Oh! - “So do you like it?" the queen asked, smiling at her. The princess takes out the object wrapped inside the package and exclaims: - It's really very very beautiful, mom. Wow! - I... I knew... - It's quite beautiful. She opens her arms to wrap her mother with to hug her and thank her for her gift…
