Then he was gone, but the animated corpses remained. Gareth blinked. "Um...ok..." A sharp crack from overhead drew Gareth's gaze to the ceiling, and he leapt backwards, pushing himself off the ground with a powerful spring of his legs. He did not go far before slamming into the bars behind him with a loud CLANG of steel striking steel. Had he not been wearing his breastplate, the impact would have hurt. A lot. But the ceiling stone coming dislodged and falling down right where he was standing would have hurt a lot more. Hatherle, too, dove to the side. He hit the ground and rolled to his feet to Gareth's left, his eyes wide.
