Piter bumped into something, and looked to his right to see Shirley standing close at his side. Stan was standing just as close on her other side. Without even realizing it, the small group had backed up into a cluster as close to the fire as they could. Only Ben remained apart from the rest of them, out closer to the edge of the firelight, where he'd been keeping watch. The creatures converged on the gravesite, and it quickly became obvious from the sounds that some of the creatures were fighting each other for the meat.
